The deficit is bad, but I am glad students want to stay on campus. Kids staying closer to campus helps our graduation rate.

I might have missed something. When does construction for the new 5 story dormitory begin?
Even with that completion, it still won't be enough.

I think that even with the new residence hall project, and the buyout/partnership with the nearby apartments, we're gonna need more beds. I saw in the latest BOT meeting powerpoint something about Haley Hall. Anyone know whats going on there? Is it going offline for renovation or are we demolishing and putting a new building in its place?

Haley is going to be knocked down and turned into a brand new "Haley" if i interpreted correctly.
Also. I think we really are hoping the House Of Prayer gets started on that mixed use development SOON! If it can open up around the same time as the new dorm, it helps tremendously

Why does it seem like we have a zoning restriction on how tall our dorms can be and UNCG does not? With limited land, going up at least 10 floors on new construction would help alleviate some of the problem seems to me.
