Why depend on other schools? We have tap into GREENSBORO COMMUNITY. Form much stronger relationships with youth groups, churches, and small businesses. During football season, we should become Greensboro’s team not just A&T’s. We should also form relationships with the small towns that are within a 45 minute drive with a focus on building long term connections. Realize that the market is bigger than you think if also include ANYONE that wants to see live college football close to home regardless of race, but you have to be committed to work at it (see: how hip hop crossed over).

I read something last year from the administration at UNCG saying they support Aggie Football, I think it was there University President.
We get tons of support (game attendance) from all the black kids that go to UNCG; but the truly untapped resource is getting the larger UNCG student body to embrace Aggie football. I pretty much guarantee that you have thousands of UNCG students watching football all day on any given Saturday. I would work with UNCG to provide discount ticket to the game / or ticket that provides drink and hot dog as well as transportation to and from the game. You have to be determine to make this happen but the experience at our games are great and exciting football.
It would be great to do this for the Elon game as that may Seem like a safe neutral game for a kid from UNCG

How much are student tickets? Don't we already technically give a discount to anybody with a student i.d.?

It not so much of the discount ticket as making it an attractive deal and making it easy for UNCG students to become a part of Aggie football. Ticket and food deals are very successful especially for college students

yeah, we should be marketing our football program to every college in greensboro and the surrounding area who doesn't have a football team. just off the top of my head we're talking uncg, bennett college, greensboro college, and high point college...

Ticket and food deals are very successful especially for college students It's called "Promotions" Each home game should have a theme and target some groups in the community. For example: *College Day... encourage all local college students to show up in their college tee shirts. If they show up in their tee shirts and have a valid student ID, they get in for $5.00 plus get into the post game block party. This would be great for the Elon game because there will be nothing going on at the other schools. *City Heros Day... All city workers, first responders, police, sherriffs, ets would get in for just $10 and would receive one free hotdog and will be recognized at halftime. * Veterans Honor Day... all veterans (with valid VA card or ID) will get in for $10, would receive a small souvenir flag and would be honored at halftime

The majority of A&T students don't come to A&T football games, outside of Homecoming and Central.
I am certain that UNCG students aint coming.

Good luck with thinking UNCG students are going to give a damn about A&T games.

The season has not started yet, and some folks on this sight are already drunk off some bad "corn liquor". Students from UNCG, Elon, Guilford College and any other school in this area will not be showing up in mass numbers at the "corner of Sullivan and Lindsay" to see A&T play football.

Nawl. We need to work on getting our own fans to show up for games besides GHOE, NCCU, and maybe Howard.

Limited thinking is why we don’t have a stadium that’s 3/4 or full .except homecoming and NCCU . You got start somewhere if you provided bus service to and from I think you could get a couple 100 UNCG kids...
How much would it cost to run a shuttle bus down market street. Low investment !!!

Good luck with thinking UNCG students are going to give a damn about A&T games. i dunno, a lot has changed since my undergrad days. but when i was in school, i knew of quite a few black uncg students who came to a&t football games. maybe not in mass numbers, but certainly a decent hand full. to this very day, i know i see a good number of my uncg frat bruthas at a lot of a&t home games, especially ghoe and nccu. when we were on probation until 2 years ago, folk used to asked me why they saw young nupes at our football games and i'd have to explain to them that they were from uncg...
