Can someone explain to me what the hell is the problem with FAMU's women's track team? Is it jealousy or something else? Their attitude toward other teams, especially us, just stinks.

Running their mouths a lot during and after the award ceremonies, directing chants at our team during the presentations, individual taunting, saying our women are on steroids and other stuff - their usual. They did the same thing last year and folks chose to ignore it but this time the media people picked up on it.

That Rattler venom breeds jealousy in the snake pit. And that meme about our practice field... originated from FAMU taking jabs at us on social media. In short... FAMU is jealous of what we're accomplishing without much more in resources that they have. And certain factions of their community can't handle it, whether they win or lose. But especially when they lose. |

We sat with some Eagle parents at the meet Saturday in a mixed group of both A&T and NCCU fans and team members and everyone got along just fine. These glorified earth worms are rapidly moving toward replacing NCCU in my mind as the team I most despise.

Sounds like attendance on Saturday was good judging from crowd response (background) in multiple videos.

I believe you are correct in that assessment. I read some comments from her in March as she was exiting he position at famu. She seemed a bit pugnacious and arrogant. The spotlight is on MEAC track now, so the conference may want to monitor over the top behavior. |
