I did not dive into it but I am not sure why regionals ranks had unranked teams in the national rankings ahead of us ? As Example Duke is 46th in the Nation and we are 16th but they show higher in the Regional rankings ?
Pending how we finish we need a billboard touting national rank and highest rank program in the State of NC!!! Currently highest ranked program in the Mid-Atlantic States!!!!!

Duke moved up because teams who had faster times in their best events were in the West region. In the 10,000 meters they may have gone from say 46th to 2nd if 44 faster athletes/teams were in the West . This increases their East rankings. NCAT WILL be unchanged point wise with the movement of west region teams because few west region schools have athletes with better times in our strong events so little or no increase in the points for NCAT. That is my take on the issue

From a points perspective, we have a good shot. Last year's 25th place team had 11 points. White & Sturgis have performed very well in the 100 & 200 at high level meets. Both would need to "average" between 4th or 6th (or numerous other combinations) in each final. That's well within their capability.
This year's championship is in Austin, TX.

They are getting a completely new stadium from head to toe in order to host the IAAF World Championships in 2021

Just watched Penn Relay 4x100 relay. Interestingly enough both our 4x1 teams would have finished second based on season best time. Belcher started the race for the winning USA team. Good to see him back on the track

Regional rankings are not a good barometer to gage how a team will prefrom in there regional qualifying meets for the Nationals .
