really nice pics! i saw a lot local schools competing in elon's meet, several d2 schools too. i wonder if they keep score in local meets like they used to. when i was in high school, we kept score in "every meet"...

Most likely they do that is the Good Thing I love about Track and Field all the schools are on a level playing field , even the junior colleges can compete against Division 1 & 2 teams . |

What would the score at a meet like Elon really mean? If NCAT finished in 6th place using 1/3 of the roster and Elon used all of their roster? However, The meet at ECU and the Duke v UNC were scored last week.

However, The meet at ECU and the Duke v UNC were scored last week. It just adds to the runner's Hardware and the coaches and A&T's trophy case . Also it provides runners on the lower level of the team to build confidence and try to get PR time . |

What trophy case... There is nothing to be gained by winning a meet at High Point or Elon ..... Lower runners can still get a PR and build confidence .. but the best runners are not going to participate and the schools filling up the trophy will not be NCAT but Elon or High Point ... Your best are going to point to the big Florida Alabama Texas meets...
