why do you say that? to me, postseason play is good for a program (especially recruiting) whether you have a young team or not... We played in the CIT last year and lost to Liberty? Did you or anyone else remember? We won 20 games. Last year we won 20 games. This year 19? Both years lost in semis of MEAC. Did it really help? i dunno. my whole thing about postseason play is not necessarily intended to improve next year's team directly. most guys/gals hate for their season to end during the tournament and postseason play is a good way to extend it, especially if the team is disappointed about how their tournament performance ended. we're only 1 win away from a 20 win season. that alone would motivate me to want to play in a postseason tournament. but of course if the guys in the locker room are ready to throw in the towel, then i suppose you have a valid point...
