Wow, so playing in the Big South is really helping recruiting. The naysayers are going to be hurt. really? you're beating your chest because a certain poll (that i've never heard of) ranks the big south 4 spots from dead last out of 32 conferences instead of last? i mean, does that really mean anything other than someone's opinion? besides, how many march madness games have the big south won during their entire 35 year history? You've never heard of RPI? That says a lot. Oh and by the way, it's not a poll. The rating percentage index, commonly known as the RPI, is a quantity used to rank sports teams based upon a team's wins and losses and its strength of schedule. It is one of the sports rating systems by which NCAA basketball, baseball, softball, hockey, soccer, lacrosse, and volleyball teams are ranked. This system was in use in Division I men's college basketball from 1981 through 2018 to aid in the selecting and seeding of teams appearing in the men's playoffs (see March Madness),[1] and has been used in the women's tournament since its inception in 1982.

We have added OVC transfer guard Kenyon Duling (6-2,205) from Southern Illinois-Edwardsville. Known as a tenacious lock down defender and with a good consistent outside jump shot, he will sit this upcoming season but will have two years of eligibility beginning in the fall of 2021.
From the SIUE Website- Prior to SIUE: Played his freshman season at Cowley County Community College...Second on the team in scoring at 11.6 points per game...Drained 87.2 percent (34-39) of his free throws...Averaged 2.2 rebounds per game...Helped Morgan Park High School to a pair of state championships and the Mustangs were 25-9 during his senior season...Two-time All-State and All-City selection...Played with the Caron Butler Elite AAU program.

lol, my name is osa and i "approve" this pickup! dude is a "baller"... Why does he have to sit out? because he's transferring from a d1 school (like last year's nc state transfer) which means he has to sit out a year "unless" he's a graduate transfer who could play "immediately" like the umes transfer who will be playing this year...

Coach Will Jones has added a major component for the upcoming season with last night's commitment of 7-1, 245 center David Greer from Ocean Springs, Ms. by way of SW Mississippi and Georgia Highlands JUCOs. Greer was a late bloomer and is a true low post center who averaged 15 points and 17 rebounds per game last season and got a serious late look from LSU and Tennessee State before choosing A&T.

"prayers" answered! can you say "twin towers"? i'd like to see him get a little bit stronger, but he should be able to help us immediately. heck, he almost looks like harry but harry is more athletic. has good low post "footwork", good hands, is a "traditional" center...

man, i'm really excited now! the 2 power forwards we signed can now play their natural positions without having to "force feed" them the 5 position. plus, harry can now play both the 4 and the 5, giving him plenty of flexibility to step out to 3 point land to fire the "three".
we've already got plenty of "scoring" and athleticism at the 1, 2, and 3 positions. i'd say now coach jones has filled all of the pieces to his puzzle. all we have to do now is form a new "chemistry" with the new players, work on "free throw shooting", and then toss the ball in the air! and let the games begin...
