We really need Wilson to settle in at center. If you remember he was starting then had several snaps over the qb’s head. He blocked well but got tighten up snap Remember that Darriel Mack had the same issue as a freshman. Dac is a great talent who has 3 years left. So is Dontae Keys, who had Kansas St grad transfer Breontae Matthews beat him out. No shame in that. We're going to have a bigger, more athletic OL in 2019. We have to do a better job of imposing our will on folks. Yeah, Darriel as a freshman use to snap the ball over the QB's head.

What happen to Kadarius this year and whats status of Jerome WILLIAMS. If both are good next year that would set the D Line Up until the young guys catch up.

Here's how I think the defensive depth chart will look, by the end of spring camp:
LDE - A. Richardson | D. Harrell DT - Jermaine Williams | S. Wallace NG - Transfer to be named later | M. Branch RDE - DJ2 | Tre Smalls
SAM - Headless Horseman | Justin Phillip | KeAndre Jones MLB - Alex Fumbah | K. Howard WLB - Z. Rush | Will Jones
Rover - J. Stuckey | Chris Williams FS - Richie Kittles | J. Bethea LCB - Manny Phillips | Miles Simon RCB - A. McNeil | Derek Williams

Chris Williams ain't a Rover... LB all day.
You'd move Justin Philip back to Rover first.

I think our Will and Sam will be pretty big and strong stewards stopping the run and will have speed to cover TEs and Slot Receivers. As far as the DL, Branch & Nwachukwu should make strides in spring practice and fall camp to fill McKnight's role.

I think the CB may have opened our staff's eyes about a few things. We have got to get bigger in our second level.
Our LBs and safeties were getting eaten up by Alcorn's linemen throughout the second half. We couldn't get off blocks.

We couldn't get off blocks. Our LBs will be bigger next Fall especially with Fumbah filling the void. At times, our LBs on the field will be averaging 6' - 6'2 and weighing somewhere between 235 and 250 specially at the Mike and Will. Where we do give up size is where Wilder and Stuckey or Kittles will be playing. Because of that, we desperately need our DT's to command blockers to keep those guys freed up to make plays. A 1-Tech or 3-Tech space-eater would be icing on the cake for us.

It's not all size.. it's technique & experience as well.

It is not always about size a lot of this was about technique and knowing how use your hands also being in the right place to make the play . In the game on the big runs the inside LB where not in the appropriate position to attack the runner. If the NT slides down right inside middle linebacker should have stepped right into the hole opposite but what was happening in the middle was the M lb followed the NG and left a big Gap both times look at the game and you will see that the M LB was not even blocked by and Alcorn lineman he was just out of position, that had nothing to do with size .
