It sure was great to hear Jay Walker, a Howard grad on national TV during a nationally televised bowl game say... "A&T is the hottest school in the country, right now!" Check it out... www.facebook.com/arthur.kempphd/videos/1922939397823563/He didn't say anything that we haven't been saying for several years but it was nice to hear others say it. Of course, like always we've got to continue to put in the work to remain the "hottest school!" One mistake on the academic or athletic side and we could be yesterday's old news. So let's continue to support Dr. Martin and his Administration!

He's been saying that all year, and I think most of last year too.
Hell, he even sent his daughter to Ayantee.

Yeah, he's been saying that in almost every broadcast of A&T.

Appreciate hearing things like this especially on national tv, and as much as we’ve heard him say it, has to grab the attention of somebody new each time. I would imagine that the 2 guys working the game will make these comments in the future being influenced by the way that Jay said it.

I saw Jay after the game and let him know that I still hate him. Did your hate start when he broke our heart as a player or is your hate more recent? I like him because there are so few announcers that really know and appreciate HBCU football and culture.

It all goes back to 1993. I remember when we had our first televised game on ESPN at T , I went by the stadium early to check on things and up walks Jay and coach Broadway. We dapped it up and Jay immediately points and says "was it this end zone or that one ". That game will be forever etched in history .

i actually like jay walker, he's the best hbcu football color analyst in the business. i see him in the stands at some of the basketball games that i referee here in the dmv, his kids play basketball.
i also like famu's alum tiffany greene who does hbcu football "play by play" with walker during the regular season. i was disappointed that she wasn't chosen to do "play by play" at the cb with jay because they really have great chemistry and i enjoy listening to them both...
