My badd, I forgot our band was in the Greensboro Christmas parade today. However, where were the cheer leaders? The pep band and the cheerleaders has not come to one game. I think it's a terrible look for a D1 program. They have 2 squads at home games for football, surely you can get 10 cheerleaders to the game 3x in a month. I don't think I've ever in my life seen a game since middle school where cheerleaders didnt come. There is an underlying issue. |

We need floor balance in scoring from the starters. Better rebounding, scoring and defending from the front court players.

A&T gave that game away. Turnovers, terrible free throw shooting, not getting the ball to the shooters/scorers in a position to shoot, player combinations, and defense at the perimeter stopping the threes. That doesn't sound like a team who gave the game away. It just sounds like a team that isn't that good. If you're doing all of these things, you're not giving away games....you just aren't good enough to win games. |

Where are our cheerleaders and pep band? You will not see the pep band until after marching season ends. Pep band members are currently preparing for the Celebration Bowl. I can't speak for why the Cheerleaders are not at basketball game but I know why the pep band isn't there. A&T band students are now spending extra time in the evenings at practice preparing for the Celebration Bowl and studying for finals. Remember...these are still college students not paid performers and this is a critical time of their academic year. After the Celebration Bowl they will have more free time to perform at basketball games. Until then, the fans at Club Corbett will have to enjoy the DJ. |
