I'm almost 100% positive I've heard Saturday, April 6th. That's par for the course (1st Saturday in April). But we'll need to wait for an official release. |

He won't just schedule "a game" without Sam's nod first. It was the same with Broadway.

Having 2 byes is smart planning...more time for our players to rest/recover from injuries and also focus on academics.
No other team will gave four weeks of recovery time during the season.

Yes they always have. There's usually 3 or 4 people who do each year.

I believe Coach Washington said tonight that Spring Camp begins on March 11.

I believe Coach Washington said Spring Camp tonight that begin on March 11. The 11th is on a Monday. I believe that’s the start of Spring Practice. |

I'm not going to lie. I've been bummed big time that we didn't schedule a 12th game this season - home or away. We are not rich and, in my mind, we could always use additional game revenue. So, I was thinking (for what little that is worth-LOL)... Since we are still in the 'Celebration Bowl or bust' era, we have two winnable out-of-conference FCS games on our schedule. That takes care of any conference tiebreaker scenario (after the head-to-head tiebreaker). We have a money game 55 miles away from our campus. That takes care of our desire for revenue. With a bye between the non-conference games and conference games to go along with a bye before 3 of our toughest games, I am starting to embrace our schedule. I am on record stating my trust for Hilton & Broadway. I will extend it for Hilton & Washington. |
