I really want to blame the OC, but if the WRs catch those two DROPPED bombs he looks like a genius.
Lets be real about it. This was a player and staff lose. Bonehead penalty extended their TD drive. Lasy interference call put them in field goal range. Fumble gave them their first score. The team gave this one up.

Playoff? Have you guys been watching the same team I've been watching? If (and that's a big if) we happen to stumble into the playoff we're going to continue the losing tradition of HBCUs! But honestly I expect two more losses this season. An L next week at cookman and at NCCU! Fortunately with four conference losses we will be spared the embarrassment of losing badly to some PWI in the snow. Oh, and the band will not take that trip either.

This loss is not the end of the season.

Some assistant coaches cannot make the transition to head coach. Lee Fobbs proved that. How many L's does Washington get before we panic?

Negativity? Are we supposed to smile and say we'll try harder next time? I haven't said anything that isn't factual. This is an opinion site and I'm sharing my opinion. Sorry its less optimistic than other's.

I’m not interested in being a 7-4/8-3 program. I’m really starting to worry this is what we’ll be under Washington. This offense is bad. In this day and age in football, you can’t score 13 points and 21 points in games and expect to win.
Washington needs to make some changes......now. I’m not interested in hearing “things will work their way out.” We have too much damn talent to barely be scoring 20 points a game. This ain’t an aberration...it’s a trend. Our OC needs to be demoted tonight.
We can’t beat Bethune or Central being only able to score 20 points. We won’t be able to beat Savannah or Norfolk scoring 20 points.
60 minutes is more than enough time to score more than 20 points, especially with the talent we have....the OC has gotta be demoted. It’s time for Washington to put his big boy pants on and make some changes. What we’re doing now simply ain’t working.....

In fact, it would create even more issues. Besides, Barnette and Gibbs create the offensive gameplan, along with input from Mattes. There are adjustments to be made but man, but even Hester took his foot off the gas and we complained all last year.

The name of the game is to score....we don’t have the staff who knows how to put series together to score. We are loaded with talent and struggle to cross the 20-Point mark. If we have just a slight drop off in talent, we’re toast. I’m not a prisoner of the moment. I’ve seen every game this year. Our offense has been bad....not average.....BAD. I’m not interested in going 8-3/7-4 this year. If so, we are realistically looking at being a .500 team before you know it. Washington and his staff better step it up. The standards at A&T are high and homeboy hasn’t been reaching them..

I want to say that we left at least 17 points on the field but at this point I am completely writing off our kicker....so I will just say we left at least 14. This coupled with the penalties played a critical role in undermining our ability to seal the deal today.

No one is going to lay down for you in the MEAC as soon as they players realize that and take control of their own destiny then we will win again you cannot rely on the coaches to do everything they only put you in position to win it is up to the players to take control of the game and dominate .

I think it is time to look at the players for accountably and actions . A coach can only take a team so far , Now it's time for the players to man up and take control of there own Destiny on the field .

The standards at A&T are high and homeboy hasn’t been reaching them.. Then maybe you should look at the players and ask them to step up ? Starting with Raynard (QB) his play has been horrendous all season . He continues to show little if any leadership to his teammates . A coach can only prepare you for games and what works in practice should work in a game from a coach's point of view but it is up to the players to executed properly it is up to the players to show leadership and take control of the game that is something we are lacking at this time . But there is time to turn things around but that is on the players not so much the coach .

I actually think differently than most of you. I blame the players more than the coaches. We dropped 4int's. The coaches had the kids in the rite positions they didn't execute. Same can be said about the drops on offense. The staff has been preaching about penalties all year but I players don't seem to get it. We have no player leadership on this team. These players never had to struggle like the group did when Brodway was first here. Point blank they are spoiled.
And y'alls boy #5 on defense missed more tackles today than he made.
