Morgan outplayed us. No excuses! Overlooked them because they were 0-3. No more talking about being ndsu and James Madison level That is all mental.

Not really. other than the 2-point conversion. The offense was not ready to play mentally. Raynard specifically. Our last possession was not well called. We went away from running the ball and threw incompletion after incompletion. Additionally, I don’t know why they didn’t call timeouts on Morgan’s last possession. Lastly the starting Oline combo from tonight isn’t our best grouping.

Thank God this was not a conference game. I hope this wake up call gets the team playing again as they did the previous games.

I’m sure the hurricane affected our play. If you notice all the articles this week have been about the hurricane, how good we are, and how underrated and dangerous Morgan is. Perfect storm.
We won’t have to worry about articles about how good we are anymore and we won’t see Morgan again this season, so there’s that.

Just addmit that A&T got out played and coached .

Lessons learned, their offense was to much for us today If they had not dropped a few passes we would be eating something worse than crow!

What about this scenario if Morgan and A&T win out. What would be the tiebreaker for the Celebration bowl? Morgan win over us or the total number of points earned from non conference wins. Well the good news is Howard is going to beat the break off Morgan this year.

Well the good news is Howard is going to beat the break off Morgan this year. Just like we were gonna beat the brakes off Morgan? Good news is the team I saw today won’t have to worry about a tiebreaker because it’ll lose four games. Th excuses about playing strong defenses have to end. We ain’t playing Gardner-Webb again. There are a number of teams on our schedule that are at least as athletic as Morgan. If the offense and kicking game don’t improve tremendously right now you can prepare to chill this holiday season.

Too many bad passes early on, poor run blocking throughout, the coaches were too undecided too often with play calling, and the officials allowed their defense to man handle us like NCCU (dirty and slamming our players into the ground). No excuses, I never thought that we would lose until we did, and I still have a hard time believing that we are as bad as we looked. I guess they’ll have to show me that too.

Ok.……..had a chance to check out my first game of the year in person after visiting relatives who were hit hard by the hurricane. My first hand take:
We were not prepared for this game. I put the fault entirely on the coaching staff. We looked totally disinterested and unmotivated. We went up against a team that was 0-3 for the season and we were ranked 4 or 5 nationally. We looked confused and totally out of rhythm. Again, not good coaching. WR #13 Bell did not catch a pass. Even our highly-acclaimed run defense got dogged. It seemed like the OC got overly involved in the "go for broke" passing game instead of using the middle of the field routes to continue to move the ball. Even when MSU had the ball on their winning field goal drive Coach Washington did not utilize his remaining time outs to insure that upon MSU kicking a successful field goal...…..at least A&T would have had time left on the clock for a possible game winning drive.
