Establishing more quality mature depth at that position and a probable tweaking to the offense for 2019 are 2 things that immediately come to mind. You really don't want to have to depend on true freshmen for your primary depth no matter how good they were in high school. If you do find a freshman who can measure up from Day 1 then great but that is generally the exception rather than the rule. Academics aside, 95% percent of most true freshman need at least a year to adjust to the speed and physical demands of D-1 football. Bumper ranked #128 nationally coming out of HS in 2017 before signing with Indiana State. He'll have three years of eligibility remaining. recruitgeorgia.com/players/jaelin-bumper-rbwalton/ganewsonline.com/The_Importance_of_No_8.htmwww.maxpreps.com/athlete/jaelin-bumper/dgQQnSQnEeS00gAmVebEWg/default.htm

For those of you who were lamenting over the losses in the offensive line, we signed a junior college offensive lineman just a few days ago to add into the mix this fall. Rio Hunkin-Claytor (6-2, 305) is a left guard from Pima Communty College in Tucson, AZ via Honolulu, HI / Mililani HS. www.hudl.com/video/3/11235792/5bad9c9c02b1aa08ec68f1f6

I am glad for the depth on the O line, but whats going on at RB spot seem like a lot of backs.I think Cohen being in the pros has something to do with it or is the wing tee coming back.

Cohen's growing NFL success, the huge media exposure gained in knocking off FBS programs the last three years (especially in-state ECU), 3 Celebration Bowl Championships on national TV, and now the streaming every week of our games slated for ESPN this fall has put A&T front and center in the limelight as a legit FCS power and the premier HBCU in the country.
Kids want to play for winners. It's just that simple.
