Not sure how long the Machine has been doing this routine as a cool way to enter back into the stands after their halftime performance, but it seems like they do the exact same thing every game now.
Is this routine set in stone ... or would it be possible to change it up some to keep things fresh?

I'm not asking for wholesale changes; just wanted to know if it's possible to add a few more twerks and pelvic thrusts to the Golden Delight portion .... or maybe introduce some new drum cadences for Cold Steel.

Not sure how long the Machine has been doing this routine... 40 years and counting. A little flava gets added every 10 years or so but it's basically the same. |

Pfunk ain't for us old heads...(except for Golden Delight) it's for the young fans. The little kids that have never seen and heard anything like this. The teenagers that their high school band is still playing pop songs of the 1950s. And for the freshmen that are still trying to explain to their high school friends why the went to an HBCU instead of a PWI.
Pfunk isn't old, it's tradition...and it's our tradition! If anyone thinks I'm wrong go down to the band area when they are marching in and look at the kids faces. I rest my case.

P-FUNK is a tradition & I am loving the fact that Delight, is doing the old P-funk versus the latest one that they were doing!

I think it doesn't hurt to see a little tweaking in P-funk every now & then. Mean, let's face it. We have the best tunnel out of all HBCUs. GD signature P-funk entrance is the icing on the cake everytime.
