The fact that we don't really have a 1-2 punch to take carries away from him will help Martin keep his stats up. He will probably average over 120 yards per game from here on out.

I've seen him make every long touchdown run and I still don't know how he does it. He doesn't look that fast going down the field but for some reason he just flat outruns everybody. From the stands he looks more like a short stocky fullback until he breaks out into the open. Tarik looked fast and shifty. Cartwright looked like he was looking to run over someone...anyone. Martin is hard to describe. I'm just glad he's stepped in to keep our title of "Running Back U."

I noticed last season how much more burst he had than Cartwright but their styles complimented each other well.

Martin can't play every down. He needs help. Baker had problems staying upright and getting back to the line of scrimmage. Graves was never a special running back. Their published roster only listed four running backs which leaves them with the availability of three, since Graves is injured. Out of the three, Martin is the only proven talent.

Well lucky for the coaches they have 10 days to figure it out.

Aint nothing really to figure out, unless you are patrolling the transfer portal.
We only got 3 healthy running backs on the roster and only one of them is named Jah-Maine Martin.
All we can do at this point is give the ball to 30 and pray for the best.

to be Honest I think Baker can be the sprinkle of flash in the Meac. Baker probly only needs 5to 9 touches per game to take a lot of heat off of Martin. He clearly showed that during the Elon game. Idk why he couldn't keep his balance last game but as far as a compliment to Martin I think we are just fine.

A&T has two full backs on its roster that can be used in a jumbo package and as lead blockers for Martin and Baker and the other young back , A&T also has a number of ex running backs looking for playing time on the Defense that may have to flip over to the Offense to get more playing time . What is Vexing to me is what happened to all the RB's that we signed doing the off season . I remember complaining about us loading up on RB's and not lineman and now we only have 5 backs period counting the two FB's . It's time for the OC and coach Washington to get creative in order to keep Martin Healthy going into the meat of the season .

What we have to find is a Cartwright like back that can handle a lot of the inside running . Baker runs to straight up for a back his size which is kind of funny to me being and x speed back that liked running between the tackles . You have to make yourself small and drive with your legs and core as one to create leverage on contact always leaning forward . The Kid (T. Cohen) was good at that on all his runs that's what made him special . I don't see baker as a change of pace back because he is a speed back close but not like Martin . We need a banger that can get the 4,5 or 6 yards a pop so that Martin can get some air .
