I came back from Denver CO in June and was surprised by the economic impact that marijuana (weed for us old heads...  is making out there so I decided to research it. There are cannabis stores on almost every corner! Here is what i discovered: - 1: Colorado is expereincing an economic boom of $2B from that industry.
- 2: Canada just passed the law to legalize weed for recreational use for the entire country
- 3: The major liquor companies are now beginning to invest billions of dollars into some of these upstart weed manufacturers
Based on that data, i begin researching manufactuers on the internet and found 3 companies of interest, by stock symbol. 1. CRON - Trading currently @ ~$11.06 a share, 1 month gain of ~$4.50 per share. 2. OGRMF - Trading currently @~$5 a share, 1 month gain of $1.50 per share. 3. TLRY - Trading currently @~$76 a share, 1 month gain of $52 per share. So i decided to buy TLRY today and OGRMF a couple of weeks ago.....don't know if it is worth it but it is a risk I will take..... What do you think about investing in this type of stock? |

Tilray ended up today ~$13 per share.....it was up to $18 per share earlier today!
Great gains for two days!

Of course my cheap azz bought OGRMF... You should make some $ this week! I bought Tilray and it was downgraded to hold by some analyst.....It stablized today and hopefully go up over the next couple of weeks! |

Once the major domestic liquor, wine, and beer distillers gobble up most of the majority shares of the most profitable cannabis companies and markets, watch Congress move quickly to legalize it across the board, take it out of the hands of the courts, and then let the individual states deal with how to handle sales and distribution.
As a recently retired CJ professional, I had long advocated legalization way back in the early nineties as did many right minded LE agency heads, DAs, state attorneys, and the majority of US Attorneys during the so called "War On Drugs." Time and reality has gradually proved us right.

Hopefully it'll make up for the hit (pun intended) I just took on Tesla. Tesla is a completely insane vehicle but has very bad production capabilities and can't make their forecasts I think Telsa should merge with a big auto company such as Ford that is accomplished in production....another potential company for Tesla to merge with is Apple. That would be a huge merger or acquisition! |

It's my dumb luck that when I buy it'll be at its peak and go down from there, that was one reason why I chose the cheapest stock.
Happened to me twice in the housing market and happens to me every time I switch lines at the supermarket.
So I'm gonna sit on that OGRMF for a while and see what it does.
