since we only have bleachers in aggie stadium, wouldn't capacity have to be estimated rather than counted as with separate seatbacks?

Money??? Capacity for other events outside of Football/Track??? What other events other than football and track & field would bring over 21,500 people into the stadium...unless you add the entire GameZone??
Now that should be easy to track, since tickets are needed to enter the GameZone.
STILL, my biggest unanswered question is: EXACTLY how many seats are in Aggie Stadium and Corbett Sports Arena??I guess if they ever wanted to hold a concert in the stadium, the capacity would increase, i think. I’m guessing.

But to answer your question, the number of seats on a row can be calculated out without numbers being present. The industry standard is 17" to 19" per seat.
Back in 2016, I was hired to oversee the re-numbering of the bleacher seating in FAMU's Bragg Memorial Stadium. I'm not sure how much of Aggies Stadium's seating is already numbered, but I believe most of the sideline seats are numbered. I've never sat in the horseshoe, though.

The stadium and arena were built with seats having numbers. That's how they calculated the numerical seating capacity. If you notice the physical size of many of our fans, many will take up more than one space/seat.

If Aggie Stadium and Corbett Sports Arena have seat numbers for all seats, then there is no real reason why the actual capacity for both venues haven't been published.
21,500 and 5,700 aren't accurate. Those are estimated capacity numbers. What are the actual capacity numbers??

21,500 and 5,700 aren't accurate. Those are estimated capacity numbers. What are the actual capacity numbers??If you can find an old football media guide from the late 70s or 1980, you will see the seating capacity for football was 17,500. When the gym was first opened, it was listed as 7,500. Armed with those figures, you can go argue with the state engineers about the actual size of both facilities.
