yeah it hurts to lose femi, no doubt about it. but every college in america experiences the same thing. there is no college at any level in america that's immune to this, not even the p5 schools...

Losing Denzel Keys is the one that hurts me the most. I wish there was some way to get him another year of eligibility. I wish Femi well no matter what he decides. The program will move forward either way.

Toppdogg, I agree. Keys was the monster on our team he and number 0. Femi was ok but to me he declined in the middle of the season. I know he had a foot injury and teams were double teaming him but to me something was missing even after he got back in shape.
If Femi is leaving I wish him well. My feeling on this is that he is not appreciative. He is like a person who has forgotten where he came from. He was here 2 years one where he did not play and one where he played. We took him in because for some reason other teams did not. Now he is showing his gratitude by threatening to leave or is going to leave.
He should have more positive and loving feelings for his team mates that he just played with. He will be just like Hunt wherever he goes, a few minutes here and a few minutes there. He could remain here and get all of the playing time he wants. Like so many kids who come out of high school who elect to go to a big a$$ college to sit on the bench for 3 or 4 years instead of attending a school where they can play just to say they went there. That is what Femi is doing in my estimation.
We at T need to stop these guys from using us and raping our energy and time. Question their asses before they come here as to their loyalty to us. If it is not to the satisfaction of the coaches don't take the kid. There are other kids out there who would break their neck to attend T on a basketball scholarship.
Femi needs to search his conscious and figure out what A&T did for him that no other school did.

A&T's Femi Olujobi generating plenty of interest as potential graduate transfer By Brant Wilkerson-New bwilkerson-new@greensboro.com 20 hrs agoFor Femi Olujobi to keep himself on track to graduate this summer, he’s had to ensure his phone is turned off and put away once he steps into the classroom. More than 50 programs have called this week after he announced he has received his release from N.C. A&T to explore the possibility of spending his final season of eligibility elsewhere as a graduate transfer. “I feel like I’m coming out of high school all over again,” he said. “It’s been a roller coaster these past few days, I can’t even put my phone down … it’s fun — and stressful — but it just goes to show what putting in the work can do for you.” Olujobi is in high demand after one season with the Aggies, where he burst onto the scene with 34 points in his debut and let the nation in scoring for several weeks before averaging 16.3 points and 7.7 rebounds in helping A&T to its first 20-win season since 2012-13. Although he hasn’t ruled out a return to A&T, Olujobi will keep his options open, given he will finish his degree in June and could have his pick of where to spend his final season. “Partially, I want to play on a higher level … a lot of it goes into setting myself up to being in the right position,” he said. “I want to go to the (NCAA) Tournament — not to say that it can’t be done here at A&T … the other part of it is trying to make sure I utilize my time the right way.” For the rest of the story: www.greensboro.com/sports/college/a-t-s-femi-olujobi-generating-plenty-of-interest-as/article_87b5d0e6-3500-11e8-ad22-3fb9efd76501.html

If he reads stuff like this...and looks deep down inside himself...I think that he'll realize that he needs to come back to 'Tee. It's definitely his best option.

After whatever school he chooses, can we please stop talking about this dude? I really don’t care to hear about what he’s doing now......he can kick rocks as far as I’m concerned.

I agree NSS. He is an ungrateful turncoat just as Hunt is.
Later on for this dude.

Albeit unintentional it appears we are transitioning into a stair step program when it comes to transfers?

Which team has the best chance of making the big dance? Otherwise, he hasn't really gained anything outside of tv games, potentially. I know I don't see Depaul on tv at all. I see Georgetown because, they are a local team here in the DMV. Hofstra... Butler would be the only team that would get the visibility/exposure that I would think he'd be looking for...just my guess.

Omar Yurtseven is transferring to Georgetown for that very reason. www.newsobserver.com/sports/college/acc/nc-state/article209040139.htmlAnd we have to remember that Pat and his staff saw Femi up close and personal in the December game. Hofstra is in Hempstead on Long Island... that's home for Femi.
