That was good! Every time I have some doubts about Coach Jones, he gives another great interview.

His journey makes him more than qualified for our move to the Big South. He’s gonna have the team mentally and physically prepared for the Big South.

Interviews don't win games and I still have my doubts about his coaching style. As a person I commend his progress .

This was a very enlightening interview. Wasn't planning to listen to the entire podcast. I had heard some of the early stories about Coach's career and relationships, but it is quite ironic that he's now back in the Big South where he already has experience. Also, was blown away that he said he has recruited kids that wanted to play for an HBCU, but didn't want to play in the MEAC or SWAC. He sees the Big South as a plus for recruiting. Hope he can realize his vision!

Definitely interesting since dine on those board screamed being in the BS would stop us from getting high level talent since we are no longer in the MEAC. Goes to show that the generations are different and old opinions and thoughts on race are a bit outdated and out of touch.

Goes to show that the generations are different and old opinions and thoughts on race are a bit outdated and out of touch. This brings up a somewhat personal point. My neighbor’s son out here in Conyers, GA was recruited by coach Jones and A&T offered. He ended up taking the SEC offer from Ole Miss. I hope we let em know to take another look at Aggieland if things don’t work out in Oxford.

WCA, what were some of the triggers that lead him away from A&T?
