Maybe its me, but I dont see the lack of depth at OL we(mainly BT) keep mentioning. Like bluehaze pointed out. We got about 14 without the recruits. How is that thin?

Having adequate numbers and having quality depth is two different things. I fear that there might be a dramatic dropoff in production between our starters and our backups.

So you and Thrilla are talking quality and not depth? 14 o-linemen plus the 3 recruits is plenty depth wise. I guess we were posting at the same time. Forget the question part of it. I guess I dont share the uneasiness. Plenty of offseason time to get better. Our culture is good.

Returning offensive lineman: 6 sophomores 5 juniors 3 seniors Combined with the quality of our coaching staff, this looks like pretty good depth to me!

Offensive Line does not worry me, especially since they have to go toe to toe with our improved defensive line in spring ball and fall camp.

I'm with you...if coaches aren't panicking, neither am I. You can't judge talent by head-count. You've got to see them in action on the field. And since our coaches have seen what talent it takes to win, I have confidence they are loading up on good players.

Returning offensive lineman: 6 sophomores 5 juniors 3 seniors So removing Josh Mattocks, according to the website, next year we will have: 6 sophmores 4 juniors 3 seniors Then whatever freshmen recruits and transfers that show up before the season.

I see the concern, having quality depth is always necessary.

We received a big commitment this evening from former Kansas State tackle Breontae Matthews (6-6, 321) who will be grad transfer here this fall. He confirmed on his twitter feed a little while ago of his intentions and is expected to compete for the starting lineup spot of now graduated 2-time All-American Brandon Parker. www.kstatesports.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=1415Told you guys help was on the way. Trust in the system guys. Trust in the system!
