I thinking now with how he's been performing so well this week against top flight FBS defensive ends and tackles in practice, that his moving up to become a late second or early third round pick is certainly not out of the question.

well we already know he made one bad move already. Getting married to soon lol. Just kidding Just kidding you married guys. Do you all think he will go higher Tarik C. LOL! Yes, I believe he's going higher than Tarik. Barring a major meltdown at practice today or in the game on Saturday, he'll be at worse a 3rd-round pick. You can tell by the clips that he's an upper-tier talent. Aside from his talent, the thing that Brandon has going for him is his electrical engineering degree for a couple of reasons. 1. He's smart 2. He didn't have the same amount of time as most football players to work outside of practice because of school.... yet was still a 3-time FCS All-American Teams will eat that up because a lot of personnel guys will project him to have a higher ceiling than most players once football becomes his full-time job. And LT is a premium position that gets drafted earlier because there are so few 300-lb men with the requisite skillset. I've said Day 2 (Rounds 2-3) since the fall, and I'm sticking with that.

A year of NFL weight training and diet will add some pounds and give him greater upper body strength. He can gain 20 to 30 more pounds on a 6’7 frame. Then I project him to become a regular starter.

Brandon is #72. He's in the team drills on the first play. Individual drills are at 3:24 and 5:20 He is so long. Even on the second drill where ol dude spun inside on him, he had the length to recover and stay in front of his man. If he can just gain a little bit more flex in his legs at the initial point of contact, he isn't going to be allowing sacks in the NFL.

A year of NFL weight training and diet will add some pounds and give him greater upper body strength. He can gain 20 to 30 more pounds on a 6’7 frame. Then I project him to become a regular starter. Brandon played the season between 305-310 lbs and weighed in at 303 lbs in Mobile. I don't see him getting too far north of 320 lbs until 5-6 years down the road. He has the athletic body type to where he has to consistently eat in order to maintain weight... like most of the top-tier LTs in the NFL. Joe Thomas: 6-5, 312 lbs Tyron Smith: 6-5, 320 lbs Joe Staley: 6-5, 315 lbs Duane Brown: 6-4, 305 lbs The only top-tier LT north of 320 is Andrew Whitworth at 6-7, 330 lbs. The difference is that Whitworth weighed 334 at the pre-draft combine in 2006. He's 36 years old now... just a naturally huge guy who can athletically carry his weight well. If Brandon went to a regular diet, he'd probably drop down to 280 lbs in a couple of months. I suspect Brandon will be back between 305 and 310 for the Combine. But IMO, his development will be more about refining footwork and technique moreso than gaining weight in his rookie year. That's where his strength will come from.
