We need money. Full stop. The school needs to do a better job of fundraising beyond asking the same OLD (emphasis on old) donors to give more and more. We need to cultivate more corporate dollars. Whether it's Broadway or some other coach they will need the resources.

Did he offer any specifics behind his decision to step down?
What was the team's reaction?

DC Sam Washington takes over as head coach. Time to step up our investments into this program! We could be headed to even greater heights.
Thank you, Coach Broadway, for what you’ve done for us and with us!!

Back to my thoughts on the rebranding of the bulldog logo, I really think it's time for an upgrade. Our current logo is very stale and conveys none of the qualities and emotions that we want to promote as proud alums. . . I think the new logo should display a fierce looking dog who has his head raised in a manner of extreme confidence. As Aggies we are known for our PRIDE (more accurately, our ARROGANCE) and we need to embrace that and start looking down our noses on all the haters. This is far from a perfect example but kinda gives the idea of what I mean by raised head. .

I think "The Lock" should stay and the bulldog without arms looks good. But I like the Samford logo presence. Bottom line is lose the logo with the arms in every style guide. Take it off the front of the Aggie Stadium for sure!

I want more of a fat-faced, chubby jaws style bulldog. Our current bulldog looks like he has just stepped out of a steam room or came off a 3-week herbal cleanse.
I would prefer sharper teeth too ... and of course the raised angle of the head to symbolize self-pride.

And yes, I agree about the lock. That logo is almost perfect.

But I think we should also incorporate the interlocking A&T on the collar similar to how UGA has the G on their dog collar: www.underconsideration.com/brandnew/archives/one_dog_to_rule_them_all.php
