The crappy Chicago offense is making Cohen look bad. Just hope he stays healthy until they get a decent QB! It's gonna take a whole lot more than a decent QB to right the ship in Chicagoland.

I know we're suffering from a Homecoming Hangover, but don't forget tonight Tarik is playing on Primetime!! I need Tarik to give me 17 pts like in Week 1 (and should've been in Week 3) to win in my money league. Tarik is beginning to look like money in his home games. I think Trbisky loosens up that offense.

I truly admire Tarik; he's one heck of a football player but I see a problem. He's finding that the level of play in the NFL is quite different than that at the MEAC level. NFL players are much bigger, quicker, smarter and hit a lot harder. I'm so afraid he's going to get seriously injured by darting back & forth, and changing directions as he did at the "T". I really wish he'd learn to find the "hole" and use his speed to take it to the house. Playing for a not so good of a team like Chicago, he'll get stopped a lot. But ever so often, his raw speed will allow him to break one. And with that, I think he'll stay healthy, be more successful, and his career will last a lot longer. That's just my thoughts.

Not Tarik's best game. Still a rookie and learning. Opposing teams have had a chance to study him and are preparing for him.
He will figure it out and be fine.

Chicago didn't call much "one cut & run" plays for Tarik. They really called zone runs or jet sweeps, trying to get him outside, and allowing him to do the dancing. One of these days, they'll call an off-guard or off-tackle run, and he'll house it. But teams know to stay home against him. I also noticed they also had Howard going outside on the same kind of runs. Overall, the bears need WR help. Cohen can't hit the big play without space.

Chicago's playcalling is trash. Loggins won't last to next season as OC... and Fox may be on thin ice as HC depending on wins.

I was gonna say the same thing...the play calling SUCKS!!!! It's almost like Jeff Fisher snuck into the Bears' booth and started calling plays. Todd Gurley had the guts to call out the "middle-school offense" after Fisher tried to bull Eric Dickerson from the Rams sideline, tho... and the rest is history. Jordan Howard & Tarik don't have that type of clout. But if Ryan Pace knows what's good for him... he may not want to hitch his wagons to John Fox for developing a young QB and dynamic RBs.

As many have said, Bears need top notch receivers to pair with Trubisky and Cohen/Howard....

Tarik needs to quit dancing and run straight ahead . The Kid had the same problem at Tee (Dancing) But that is his style he has never been a Straight ahead type of runner he is what I call a ( A runner that runs by Feel ) There OC has to find ways to get The Kid in space and banging him inside is not going to get it If he changes his running to more of a straight a head style , He will not last the season I say just let him be his self

Chicago.suntimes.comSince a 36-yard run against the Steelers in overtime that nearly was a 73-yard touchdown, rookie running back Tarik Cohen has 58 yards on 17 touches (3.4 average), with a long rush of seven yards and a long pass reception of eight yards. Cohen was hemmed in by the Vikings’ defense everywhere he turn Monday night. He gained 13 yards on six carries and lost three yards on his only pass reception. Is the league catching up to him? “I felt like I kind of got away from my blocking,” Cohen said. “I was trying to make too many plays on my own instead of just following my tracks and trusting my O-line. It was more on me than on their defense.”

I think he might be trying to do too much with each of his limited touches...he will settle down
