The announcers were dead on when they said that the Bears had scene enough of Cohen and would see limited action today. I can't wait until they show his catching out of the backfield. Did he play at all today??i only saw him carry the ball 1 time...

Yes, he played. He did punt return duty. Punted to him 4 times in which 2 were uncatchable. He fair catched one and returned one for approximately 10 yards.
He alo had one rush for about 6 or 7 yards.
I had to leave but this is what I saw of him early on.
The announcer at the start of the game said we would not see much of him today.

Aggielaw, don't get me wrong because I love and support Tarik to the Nth degree but I was never impressed with his pass catching ability out of the backfield.
I saw him drop passes in the past that were very catchable. Maybe I missed something that you may have seen.
As I said don't get me wrong because I know he is going to raise hell in the NFL if given the chance as a runner, punt returner or kickoff returner.
The only flaw "I" saw in his game was receiving. With practice and repetition he can overcome that in the NFL.

THAT'S ONLY TWO GAMES. LIKE I SAID HE IS MY MAN BUT I DID SEE HIM MAKE SOME DROPS THAT HE COULD HAVE CAUGHT. THAT IS THE ONLY FLAW I SAW IN HIS GAME AT A&T. LOOK THE BEARS DRAFTED HIM BECAUSE OF HIS SPEED AND RUNNING ABILITY NOT HIS RECEPTION ABILITY.

He has been killing it catching passes in practices out of the backfield with the Bears! They have "packages" just for him as a part of their passing game. Some believe they are waiting to showcase these pass catching skills in week two or three of the season.

ON A SCALE OF 10 FROM WHAT I OBSERVED OF HIS PASS CATCHING ABILITY AT A&T I WOULD GIVE HIM A "7".
HIS ABILITY MAY HAVE CHANGED UP IN THE BEAR CAMP. MAYBE THEY TAUGHT HIM SOME NEW SKILLS. AGAIN
I LOVE TARIK AND HE IS A GREAT TALENT BUT HE IS NOT PERFECT. THEY "DID NOT" DRAFT HIM FOR HIS
PASS CATCHING ABILITIES. GRANTED, HE MAY HAVE HAD A FEW GOOD GAMES RECEIVING BUT I DID SEE HIM
ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS DROP BALLS ESPECIALLY IN COLD WEATHER.

REMEMBER THAT PHRASE AGGIELAW - KILLING IT IN "PRACTICE". LOOK HE IS A GREAT BACK AND HE IS GOING TO BE AWESOME WHEN HE GET
HIS TURN THIS YEAR. I HOPE HE DOES IMPROVE IN PASS CATCHING BECAUSE THAT WILL MAKE HIM EVEN MORE VALUABLE. HE'S SPECIAL AND
HE CAN ADJUST TO ANY SITUATION OR TASK. SO, IF THEY WANT HIM TO BE A PASS CATCHER OUT OF THE BACKFIELD HE WILL ADAPT AND
ACHIEVE IT.
I WAS JUST STATING WHAT I OBSERVED WHEN HE PLAYED FOR A&T.

Some believe they are waiting to showcase these pass catching skills in week two or three of the season. Sigh... Cameron Merideth is out for the season at WR for the Bears. The last thing they need to do is show off everything they're going to do with Tarik in the passing game in Week 1. That could be the difference between starting 0-1 and 1-0. Tarik caught 98 passes for A&T, including 37 last season in 12 games. I can't believe we're even debating his ability to catch the ball.

He probably has the biggest hands on the team (literally). He can catch balls one-handed while doing backflips (literally). The guys throwing them passes he dropped in college are nowhere near the caliber of the guys he's playing with now.
Not making excuses for the guy, but I see more of an upside. I think the guys who are paying him see the same upside. I guess their opinion counts the most.

I'm not sure what Cdrop is seeing in terms of Cohen's pass catching ability. I think that why the bears drafted him to create mismatches in the passing game in open space. The running that we have seen is a just plus.

When I watched the combine he excelled in the drill that you catch 5 or 6 balls by doing 10 yard inside routes ...one of the few rb's that dropped none...then based on his great hands he got asked to stay over with McCaffrey to field punts.....opinion vs. facts
