Has A&T applied for the one time transfer exception for Ms Smith? If the exception is approved a combination of Smith and C.Scott could be a game changer. We got another transfer today in Jada Smith, a 6-0 wing from Long Beach State by way of Cary, HS. She was a true freshman this past season. She'll have to sit out next season unless the NCAA votes to approve the one time free transfer rule this summer. From the LBSU Website: Jada Smith | Fr. | F. | 6-0 | Cary, N.C. (Cary HS) Smith begins her collegiate career after having prepped at Cary High School in North Carolina. The power forward is coming off of a season in which she led her team to a 20-9 overall record as they went undefeated at 14-0 in conference action en route to capturing a regular season championship. Her team finished the season as runner up at State Regionals. Smith contributes on all sides of the ball as she averages 8.3 points per game, 4.9 rebounds per game, 1.5 assists per game, 1.2 steals per game, and 0.5 blocks per game. An academic all-conference selection and NCHSAA Scholar Athlete, Smith plans to major in sports psychology and kinesiology at Long Beach State. longbeachstate.com/news/2019/5/6/womens-basketball-womens-hoops-signs-four-for-the-2019-20-season.aspx

That’s some of the best tape I’ve ever seen for an A&T recruit. Fundamentally sound coming out of HS with an all around game. She’s a player! Unfortunately she will have to sit a year but 2021 should be a good year. Robinson must step up his coaching and reevaluate whether his staff has gotten comfortable.

I think the entire coaching staff for women basketball has gotten too comfortable as our head coach has.
Every year we talk about the dynamite recruits that are coming in. Most every year we do nothing with them.
The time has come to make Robinson held accountable. He ain't no super coach that pressure can't be put on him to win. He's just an average coach at T and most likely would have been given his walking papers in another program.
He needs to produce this year or we need for NSS to bring out his list.

Played in 6 games ... May be in line as a redshirt if injured.. Does anyone know the guidelines for redshirting? Why would she not be a prime candidate for a transfer exception?
