Very nice pickup. We need to stay on him as he has twin younger brothers who are just as good who are both sophomores.

Yep... had offers from Marshall, Kennesaw St. and UMES, among others. And that's two Greensboro commitments in the past 2 recruiting cycles.

A&T lands Southwest Guilford's Kameron Langley Posted: Tuesday, October 4, 2016 3:48 pm By Joe Sirera joe.sirera@greensboro.com Less than two weeks after his younger brothers chose Virginia Tech, Southwest Guilford basketball standout Kameron Langley ended his recruitment today when he committed to N.C. A&T. The senior guard was a priority recruit for Aggies coach Jay Joyner, and Langley said Joyner and his staff made him feel that way throughout the process. "A&T has been watching me for a couple of years now," he said, "and I've grown my relationship with the coaches and some of the players." Keyshaun and Kobe Langley, sophomores this season for Southwest Guilford, made their commitment to Virginia Tech known on Sept. 23. Today it was Kameron's turn. "It was the right time for them to commit," he said, "and I felt like this was the right time for me to make my decision." Southwest Guilford coach Guy Shavers has said throughout the process that he thought Kameron Langley was under-recruited, and he appreciated the way A&T went after his senior leader. "Coach Joyner talked to my parents and I said he expects me to play a huge role coming in," Kameron said. "He expects me to play huge minutes, whether it's off the bench or starting in the backcourt with somebody. I'd like to be all-freshman in the MEAC." link

I'm sure Reggie Perkins put in some good words for us! Here's what happenend...He wanted three kids from Greensboro. Kam Langley, JP Moorman and my son, Jordan Perkins. The only problem was, Coach Joyner wanted my son to play as a combo, and my son is a PG, same as Kam. Lots of connections here. Jordan and Kam played together on Team Felton, and Jordan and JP go to high school together at Greensboro Day. In the final analysis, we got a great floor general in Kam Langley.

Well that's good news. He's a real solid ball handler-assist oriented point guard and has a lot of quickness on perimeter defense. His ability to find people off the penetration dribble and running the break are his biggest assets. Very happy we got him and not Hampton. He and Langley will be a huge upgrade in the backcourt.

Jalen Spicer to NC A&T
By Justin Byerly Posted On: 02/3/17 9:50 PM One of the top unsigned point guards in North Carolina, Jalen Spicer made a commitment to North Carolina A&T this afternoon. He chose The Aggies over Hampton and Mount Olive University. PrepHoopsNC analyst Justin Byerly had the chance to catch up with Spicer after he committed. Justin Byerly: What made you choose A&T? Jalen Spicer: I have family members who are Aggie alumni specifically my father and I really want to make a positive impact on my community and I feel like the coach really believes in me and it’s a great opportunity to get a great education.Justin Byerly: What’s it going to be like playing in front of family on a nightly basis? Jalen Spicer: Playing in front of family is definitely something I imagined doing through this process so I will love that and if I didn’t stay in state my mom would be traveling all around the world trying to watch me play haha I don’t want that.Justin Byerly: What can you bring to the team next season as a freshman? Jalen Spicer: I will bring a lot of leadership to the team, court vision and extension of the coach…. score buckets

All of these recruits you all are hyping up......listen, I'm fine with that. My question is will they get the coaching and strategy they need to be successful? We keep on posting commitments, video footage of these dudes, etc......then when they set foot on Corbett.....crickets...... I'm not saying the players aren't good enough. I really worry about the coaching/tutelage they're getting from Joyner.
Has Pratt's game grown throughout the year? Has Sam Hunt gotten better? How about Donte Watson?
Even if players have gotten slightly better, why are we still struggling as a unit in February 2017 with no DI wins to date??
Don't you all get it??? Getting solid recruits ain't gonna turn the plight of Aggie basketball around. Getting these recruits to improve and play as a cohesive unit are the problems I see, and I'm not convinced Joyner has the chops to do it. Sorry, but all this recruiting hype ain't gonna change a damn thing until Joyner miraculously improves as a coach. I just haven't seen any in-game coaching adjustments or team chemistry from this team all year to suggest Joyner knows what he's doing.
