Late signee from Southern Guilford at 6'2 - WR. He is my neighbor and his dad told me he signed. His name is Ron. I do not know his last name.
He is ripped and strong.

Actually, Ron Hunt isn't a late signee. He's on the original list.

Thanks Aggie One! After General Lee, you can guess which part of your statement is most important to me....

I caught that to, and I can tell you it makes me feel red good about the program.
Other MEAC schools are signing more kids because they don't know what their situation will be.
I also like that we don't do all kinds of bragging and boasting about what we got...we will do our talking in the field.

Thanks Aggie One! After General Lee, you can guess which part of your statement is most important to me.... now that's funny, but true... It takes a lot of pressure off the coaches not having to chase after guys about their classwork every single day and it also makes a huge difference on the field as well when you are trying to establish a mature, team first mindset with these young kids.

He was beasting on the lil bitty DBs man, LOL. I like this kid. Vs that one team his junior year he embarrased the entire secondary. Every highlight was a different defender, LOL.

I also like that we don't do all kinds of bragging and boasting about what we got...we will do our talking in the field. imo, that’s because “on paper”, we’re not really signing too many of those 3 star “blue chip” fcs prospects for the most part. i think a lot of credit must go to coach broadway and his staff because it appears to me that coach doesn’t get all “geeked up” about 3 star recruits. instead, it seems to me that he’s primarily looking for “coachable” guys who have great potential with an emphasis on “speed”, academics, and guys who have a great work ethic. he takes these guys and develops them to become great football players who in many ways “outperform” those 3 star “blue chip” athletes. but they’ve got to be “coachable” and they’ve got to have a “great work ethic”. i mean, just look at guys like tarik cohen and khris gardin. neither of them came out of high school as highly acclaimed d1 recruits, didn’t make the shrine bowl, didn’t make the east/west all star game, and didn’t have any stars by their names according to rivals.com and the rest of those scouting services. but look at how they both turned out? none of those highly regarded high school accolades were bestowed upon them coming out of high school. yet, they’re both now fcs “all americans”! they’re both breaking records left and right at the fcs level! sure, they both came to a&t with raw talent. but certainly “great coaching” is why they’ve developed into all americans, leaving a lot of those so called 3 star “blue chip” athletes behind...
