It may be a good long while before he sees any action given his academics but I guess given SSU's efforts to turn their program around, it's worth the risk.

I noticed SSU did some serious recruiting in Florida, 9 of their 14 recruits are from there...

I am glad we did not get another QB from Scotland County I could not take another one SMH!!!!!!!! i’d take players from scotland county any day of the week, especially our qb. if it wasn’t for our scotland country qb, we wouldn’t have won a championship this past season. mr. scotland county saved the day against bethune cookman and had we loss that game our meac championship aspirations would’ve been ruined...

Funny you forget the Norfolk state game and Hampton game where Broadway pull Quick from the game he was playing so badly and it was not for Mr Raynard we would not had won nether of those games.

I just watched some of his highlights out of curiosity.... Wow. They appear to run some fruity offense where he gets a direct snap behind three backs who block for him. He was patient following his blocks and hit the hole like hell when it opened. Breaks tackles like nobody's bidness. He looked totally worth the probability he'll fail out in a semester.

You would think SSU would follow our lead on how to get out of the cellar. This guy looks good, but what's the point if he will flunk out...or if you don't have the supporting staff and players.
Broadway provided the blueprint.

SSU can't follow our lead. Their budget is probably half ours, same with their campus and stadium, and they don't have nearly the same academic standing nor offerings.

SSU better be careful not to take too many high risk kids given their past struggles with NCAA probation. They were on NCAA probation in 1998 and 2006. In 2013, and 2015 they were placed on APR sanctions. They may want to rethink this?

It depends on the academic qualifications of the rest of the class and the cats they already have on the roster. If everybody else is kosher then there's no reason to not risk one guy with his upside. It gets dicey if they have two or three more guys with shaky academics they'll have to worry about.
But, that boy good!

If I'm Ernest Wilson , I'm getting him on the phone and getting him up to ECSU. Easier to qualify on the DII level and will be in a small town so he can be controlled

Damn good point Professor. That would be a stroke of brilliance.
Of course looking at the kid's tape I'm thinking he's another Cohen in the making, except for the fact that Cohen ain't finna break into nobody's house, and qualified right out of high school, and is a model student and leader...

And ECSU has enough problems without recruiting an alleged armed criminal. There's only one place I'd recommend for him...NCCU. lol
