But you don't think for you say Quick is below average QB is sad going into his Senior Year. At least Raynard has a excuse (red shirt freshmen). i still think quick is suffering somewhat from his knee injury that occurred last year. i don’t see the “burst” that he had last year before he incurred the injury. mind you, his “speed” was his #1 asset. take his #1 asset away and quick becomes a below average qb, imo. but give him his speed back and he’s an above average qb, imo... I think that Quick my be a little banged up which is normal for a running QB . What I see is that the defenses coaches have found a way to prepare for him and his style of play !! When Quick is in the D is more focused on the run in order to make Quick a passer ! If Quick would learn to build a relationship with his TE like most running QB's do we may just see the Quick of old, but because we never use the TE much, we see Quick trying to make passes that or out of his comfort zone which turn in to Int's or just bad looking passes ! Quick is not a great passer this we already know but he is a fair/ good passer when he has the time on short and medium routs which fit his comfort level. But asking him of anything over the Medium level is something that the OC should address with him ! Quick's speed is still their but he and the OC have to find away to open up lanes for his run's that at this time or not there !

I think this week you will see a lot more Creativity Offensively in the Cookman game ! BCU's D-line/ O-line vs A&T's O-line/ D-line is going to be and interesting match up to see ! now we will see if the lines for A&T on both sides of the ball have arrived or still have a Way's to go !!!

The one thing that I have noticed about BCU's defense , If you run East to west on them your playing right into there hand's, they have trouble with teams that run straight at them with misdirection and traps ! Play action with the back coming out of the mix on a high low read ( if the LB's or high go beneath them, if low go above them) to the flats or the middle of the field! They also play a lot of Shell 2 , it is rear to see Cookman with just a single safety even in passing situations, they always play the deep ball so there should be work underneath for the short and medium route's, especially in the middle of the field between the safeties in the linebackers ! Bottom line if we control the line of scrimmage and can get the north south running game going a long effective play action, and not get greedy A&T should control this game !
