Our offensive line and defensive front 7 will have plenty of experience. Also, our WR's and Cohen will also be leaders for the entire team. I am not concerned at all about any of our QB's. Whomever the starter will be, will have a great QB coach to learn from and will have numerous weapons to use! Our QB will not have to be relied upon to win the MEAC or any conference we are in.

Lots of new faces. Raynard is running as the number one quarterback and he has more tools and skills than any quarterback we've had here since Connell Maynor. He just needs experience so Broadway's move in hiring Barnette from Guilford who is a proven QB coach should pay off in terms of getting him ready.
Redshirt freshman Amos Williams has looked exceptionally fast like a bigger version of Cohen while Lamarc Watlington (R-Fr.) will be the workhorse with power. Speaking of Cohen who is practicing with the team this spring and not sitting out, "The Kid" has bulked up to say maybe 180-85, looks quicker and much stronger body wise especially in the legs.
Marcus Albert is back at OLB after being an academic casualty in 2014 and a starter in 2013 and is settling into D'Vonte Grant's old space very nicely. Early freshman enrollee Julius Reynolds (Wilmington Hoggard) is getting rave reviews at MLB. Julian McKnight (6-4,275, R-Fr,) is getting some run with the first team at DT along with Mike Neal, Marcus Ragland, D'Anthony Ross, and James Morris. That is one angry looking group in the middle. The O-line that was out there yesterday had Major Kay (6-4,315), Brandon Parker (6-7,290), Wes Cole (6-6,300), Jessie Dove (6-4,278), and surprise 6-4,265 Charles Jones (from tight end to center) in the first rotation. Still its only spring practice so all these lineups will almost certainly change especially in those deeper position areas.
Dom Frescura left school and headed back to Cali. So did Austin Venable the rookie long snapper from last year. Explains why Broadway brought in two top high school punters and a long snapper on signing day. 1st team all-MEAC placekicker Cody Jones is back and ready to go.

The former OL 6'4 275, 4 star recruit from SC/GA who went to Uconn has some interest in becoming an Aggie. He can offer quality dept on the offensive line.

Thanks for the report Aggie One. Change panics some folks so I'm glad to see your assessment of our current talent. Finding any student that has the academic ability to complete four year of rigorous college coursework is not easy. And when you add the time and physical commitment of college athletic practice and games, it gets even tougher. No matter what A&T does to try to keep these kids around for four years, sometimes they just can't cut it. Some come in with academic challenges and some are just knuckle heads!
If you look at the graduation rate of non-athletes vs. athletes at A&T, I'm betting they may not be that much difference.

Just the opposite of what most people would have thought when discussing athletes and academics. Not surprising at all given the tight structure and disciplined routine that most student athletes must follow.

He's learning how to become a strong side guard in the college, a huge difference from playing left tackle in HS. He'll be fine.
