A press release isn't going to give us the details. If our college presidents signed off on the deal without knowing the particulars, we have alot more problems to worry about other than a football game. Not all of them did.

Okay, we knew this day was coming so there are no surprises here. It's done! So let's try to make the best out of it. We can stay mad about it and hope the thing fails or we can try to figure out how the two HBCU conferences and A&T in particular can make some money off of it. I'm hoping that this is A&T's year to win the MEAC outright and go to Atlanta on December 19th. No matter how smart or dumb this idea was to hold this game, it can be worst...especially if those fans that wanted to stay in the FCS don't show up. My suggestion...let's fully support this first game just to see if it's possible for this game to make money for the conferences and the schools. And if it doesn't then you all can say "I told you so!" i'll watch it on tv if a&t plays in it, but i'm sure as hail ain't going to spend my money traveling to this "quitters bowl". if we play in it, of course i'd hope that we win. but if we do win it, i sure as hail ain't gone be doing no doggone "celebrating"! celebrate for what? for beating a swac team? oh heck no. is that suppose to be a big accomplishment?

Why would anybody in their wrong mind, let alone in their right one, wanna get in bed with the SWAC? The MEAC gets what it deserves. Way to go backwards, folks.

Looks exciting. Before we judge we should at least give it a shot/chance.

My season will end with our last game vs nccu. I will not watch this game in person or tv.

This deal stinks to High Heaven... I'm with you Rattler, I say go for it and see what happens. it's really up to us the fans if this bowl succeeds fails! If it fails it only shows the establishment that HBCU schools have a non interested fan base. I hope that the bowl succeeds! Because weather we know it or not other FCS schools and conferences will be watching us!

This one game has gotten really heated. If you're in favor of the game you're a stupid uncle Tom and if you're against it you're a modern day Malcolm X. Hey it's a college football game not Brown vs. The Board of Education. It's not going to set race relations back or change how the sports world views HBCU football. So why all the hostility?
