If you all remember, I was adamant about our 1st OC under Broadway (Pizzo) needing to be fired. However, the firing of Bustle came out of left field. I don't think anyone saw this coming.... I have some concerns about Broadway. He's been on the job for 4 years and has already fired 2 offensive coordinators. Broadway has to stop pointing the finger at others and start pointing it at himself. Bustle isn't the one recruiting the players. Many were here before he even set foot on campus. I'm keeping it real here - this offense (for the most part) overachieved for the most part last year with subpar QB play. I know many folks are fans of Quick --- I've never been one. I still believe if you add our team with a QB like Greg McGhee, we would have been a top 10 team in the nation. The point is, Broadway apparently isn't sharing his vision about what he wants on his offense with the players or his staff. Maybe he flat out doesn't know what he wants. Just think about it - if he fires an OC after a 9-3 season where we were among the top teams in the conference in all offensive categories, WHAT DOES BROADWAY WANT FROM HIS OC??? It's been 4 years.....he's recruited the players (including the QBs); he's fired 2 OC's. Enough is enough. Broadway has to shoulder whatever shortcomings the offense has had since his arrival. If Bustle didn't do enough for him, who will? ? Broadway has gotta look in the mirror and take some accountability as to why this offense hasn't ever been to his liking. Whomever the next OC is, he damn well better have his resume polished and ready.....FOR HIS NEXT JOB. If the past is indicative of the future, he won't be our OC for very long.........

Bustle had three jobs, offensive coordinator, QB coach, and head recuriter. One of those jobs he failed badly. I will let you guess which one!!

Is it head recruiter? That's my guess since you won't say.

again, if folk don't have inside knowledge of "why" bustle was fired, then its not very productive to "assume" and "speculate" as if its fact. generally reasons for firing folk are kept confidential and unless someone has access to that information, its not fair to speculate as if its factual...

Sorry OSA, You cannot fire 2 OC's in 4 years and he hard-pressed to not have fans ponder what's going on. This leaves your team and program in constant limbo. If Bustle was involved in anything illegal, I completely understand....
...but if he fired him because he wants to take a "different course" - if you were a high school QB or any type of dynamic offensive player, would you really feel comfortable coming to A&T if it was down between us and a few other schools??? If you had a son who was a good offensive player, are you telling me that the news of firing an OC for the 2nd time in 4 years wouldn't raise your antennas as to what type of environment your son would come into???
Believe me, I really hear where you're coming from; speculating isn't necessarily good. However, you have to admit this is extremely perplexing. 9-3 record a top-rated MEAC offense ....and the OC gets fired.
There are times things go down where you just have to question what is going on. This is one of those times....

Let me go on the record as saying I never called for him to be replaced but like all backseat coordinator I would like to have seen some things done differently with that being said I watched the championship game today and I this time played backseat personal director I came to a realization that if I had the opportunity to trade personal given the youth of most of our players and the upside of a lot of our players there not many players I would trade for we have the skill position players and young line that hopefully can only get better. Now it time that they step up there game and the coaches put them in winning situation let's keep this program moving forward and start developing a winning attitude I have to disagree with you on that game statement. I was in the stands you must have been watching something else. That was one HELL of a game. With outstanding players on both sides. I never said it was not a great game I can only hope the game tomorrow night can be as exciting the point I was making was watching two of the best teams in fcs with outstanding player on both sides of the ball that the skill position players we have I would not trade them for the skill position players from either team maybe the QB position Both teams had outstanding running back but but can you honestly say you trade #28 if we can work hard this spring and summer and and make strides we have the raw talent to complete with any team we play because we should have beaten Coastal Carolina and they should have beaten ND State and they are 4 times Champ l

@nab When he looks in the mirror he see's a head coach that has won the CIAA, MEAC, SWAC, and has A&T in Great position to win the conference again. Obviously he wasn't doing enough in his eyes. I would trust his judgment when it comes to these decisions.

I don't know what's going on but, Broadway doesn't seem to be an irrational type of coach so it must something serious. But, hey I don't know. I figured Quick would be preseason all American with another off-season with Bustle but hey, what do I know.

Maybe he wanted a OC that would throw to the 6'5 MONSTER wide out more then 2/3 times a game...and wanted a OC that would throw some bombs use the faster WIDE OUT in ALL of college football...LITERALLY.

The facts will come out. But you can not keep changing OC/ QBC's like you change Sox's and expect Development from a group of young QB's in a young Offence. Remember Kindle how many OC/QBC's did he have ? Also this is not Pop Warner Football the QB has his progression and if the Big 6'5 monster and the Flash are not open you have to read the defence and take what they give you.
