Less than a 10% chance; if that.

Some of you are delusional saying Special teams sucked all year...We have by far the best place kicker in the MEAC and he will be voted 1st team all conference....Our starting punter tore his ACL...I don't think Major D1 programs have 2 legit punters...We were number one in the conference in kickoff returns...2 in kickoff coverage...1 in field goals...do you guys bother to look at stats at all...most of you are ran by emotion and do not look at in stats to back up your point of view...Number 8 garland was electric before he got hurt...Bornthrilla plz explain how they were terrible all year?

I don't think anybody has commented on the o-line play. The thing that no one is mentioning is our kicking game. That was abysmal yesterday. A missed field goal, a fumbled punt return and several shanked punts. If Broadway wants to make any wholesale changes with the program, he should start with changing his philosophy about special teams. It has never been really good since he's been here and against NCCU is was brutal. We need to find a consistent place kicker and punter. and maybe a new punt returner. No. 8 scares the daylights out of me every time he is back there. Cody is a consistant field goal kicker. In fact in several games this year he's hit multiple field goals. That said, he's no punter. Our starting punter got hurt in the Howard game and Cody stepped in. What this shows us is the need to have more than one punter or field goals kicker on the team. As for number8 running back punts, I saw his challenges yesterday and I think the sun was giving him trouble. In past games he has been sure handed and is a hell of a runner. Yesterday every aspect of our game fell apart. I should have known yesterday just wasn't going to be our day when the clapper in my cowbell came off and sailed into the crowd in the first quarter.

Our expectations were raised mid-season and rightly so. This also helps put the SCSU loss into perspective. This year was a perfect indication of where our program is.
I think everyone would agree that we are the team we thought we would be at the start of the season, if not slightly better.
We are no longer a rebuilding program. We are a Championship team with a young stable.

Four years after our football program was on life support we are competing for a MEAC championship and a playoff game. Now we didn't make it this year but the knowledgeable MEAC football fans know that we have built a program that will win it. Our disappointment is we were stopped this year by those despicable Eagles!
So let's try to get over our disappointment, get out our 2015 calendar and circle the Saturday before Thanksgiving. That's when we get revenge on those Eagles at our place. I can hardly wait!

A&T football players are the ones who missed out on being sole MEAC Champions so they have to be kicking themselves and feeling real bad about this missed opportunity. I try not to be Polly Ann-ish about the loss yesterday but the Aggies are still MEAC champions albeit co-champions. At the beginning of the season I thought that A&T had a good chance of being a co-champion, tying Bethune Cookman. I wasn't sure if A&T could be sole champion and I definitely didn't think there would be 5!! co-champions. Is there a better than 50% chance that A&T could be chosen for an at-large bid to the NCAA playoffs? NOPE...it's a done deal. We only got the one AQ berth and it went to Morgan State.

Reading is fundamental. Please tell me where you find the words "all year" in my above paragraphs.
BTW: My concerns with our place kicker were more about the short kickoffs and not the field goals. I don't expect any HBCU to have a stud field goal kicker. I just want them to be able to put them ball near the endzone after we score a touchdown. Central won the field position battle all afternoon yesterday. And yes, No. 8 makes my heart skip a beat when he is fielding punts ... and not in a good way. Maybe we should set up some blockers for him so he is not always catching the ball with a defender right in his face.
But once again, that coincides with my statement about Broadway changing his entire philosophy about special teams.

We've known for two weeks that we were going to be Meac Football Co Champs or possibly outright Champions. Not one single thread has been made for it lol We complain about crowds not cheering at games and we can't even cheer on a message board lol. The Irony.....
Good Job team! Denzel Keyes go head and turn in your cleats and strap on your Chuck Taylors Asap!! lol Take your frustration out on the hardwood. #Redemption
