The Aggies play the FAMU Rattlers on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Aggie Stadium as the keynote event for the Greatest Homecoming On Earth. The Rattlers hit the road north for the second week in a row hoping to spoil another homecoming. So far we have two common opponents; CCU (A&T loss 30-31, FAMU loss 48-3) and Howard (A&T won 38-22, FAMU won 31-28). FAMU is not eligible for postseason play, but play SCSU at home and BCU in the FL Classic, so they could help decide the MEAC Champion. Go Aggies Go, Beat FAMU! Article: FAMU's win is one to enjoy for the momentFAMU is now 2-5 with a 2-1 conference record that puts it ahead of the bottom four teams. Definitely this is when you want to savor the moment. Not just for spoiling Howard University's homecoming with a 31-28 victory. But the way they jumped on the Bison early. The Rattlers showed speed that wasn't obvious during their early season losses – five straight.

Thanks, A77!
I am sure A&T will be ready to play!
Does anyone know Quick's status for this week's game?

FAMU's 2 conference wins - Savannah State and Howard......the 2 teams COMBINED have ZERO CONFERENCE WINS. We better win, and win big. This game should be over by halftime. There is no way this game shouldn't be at least a 2 TD win.

I'm not coming back here to Tallahassee and have to eat crow! If we can score 90 on them, I want Broadway tack on another 7 points!
I don't like how we've lost our concentration and focus during GHOE over the past decade, so we need to be ready to play from the opening kickoff.
I will say that FAMU is playing better and with renewed confidence...but we SHOULD win this one handily.

Folks we are still playing with our backup true freshman QB and a young offensive line so don't expect a blowout. Coach Broadway and his staff will put together a game plan that is "good enough" to win. No more and no less. If Quick was healthy and had played all these games I'd be with you about the blowout but they are not going to ask Klugh to do too much. We should win but it will be ugly and not easy.

How long is Quick out for? I didn't watch/listen to the DSU game but obviously we didn't have many passing yards. I know Klough is a Freshman but we need him to develop a little more as a passer before the Morgan and NCCU games later on in the season.

Posted: Tuesday, October 21, 2014 5:03 am By Jeff Mills/News & Record jeff.mills@news-record.com GREENSBORO — Homecoming is huge. The single-biggest week of N.C. A&T’s school year is already underway, with events scheduled daily through Sunday. Greensboro’s Parks & Recreation Department expects 40,000 people at A&T’s FanFest alone, making it the largest city-managed special event of the year, according to the city’s website. And that’s just part of the celebration. Article: Aggies hope to avoid distractions

Wow!!
Will the more-experienced Quick be back for homecoming?
It’s a touchy subject.
“You need to talk to the doctors,” Broadway said. “They make the decision. I don’t always agree with them. And let me say this — here’s the thing that irritates me: How dare they, with their egotistical butts, sit there and think they care more about our players than we do?
“They say they’re making decisions in the best interests of the kid, but they see the kid once, and we’re with the kid every day. They have the audacity to say that they have the kid’s interests at heart, which is to say that we don’t? That’s embarrassing to me for a doctor to think that. We care about these kids. They’re our kids. They see’em once, and they’ve got more feelings for the kid than we do? Shame on them. Shame on them.”
It’s not clear to whom Broadway was referring specifically.

yeah, looks like coach broadway is calling somebody out. i'm sure whoever he's talking about knows he's talking about them. it appears that coach broadway was "offended" when the doctors told him that they care more about our players than coach broadway does. and quite frankly, if i were coach broadway, i'd feel offended too...

You right about that. If we ever have a close game going into the 4th q. having Klugh at the qb it will not be good. Especially with the turnover ratio. If we had not had that 31-0 cushion we may have loss last week. Now having said that he is a freshmen so as I stated last week he is going to have some good games and bad ones. But I never thought i would but it time to get quick back. We need experience and quickness in that back court.

Even if Quick come back he might be a little rusty.

Even if Quick come back he might be a little rusty. you're probably right, even though i've heard he's been practicing with the team lately. that doesn't mean he's 100% healthy, but at least he's getting some limited work in. if he doesn't play against famu, my guess is that he'll be 100% healthy when we play morgan state because we have a "bye week" after ghoe before we play morgan state at home...
