Love the height! Apparently she's a good rebounder. Not a lot of info on her offensive game though.

"I like her size but I need to learn more about her game." If she can walk and chew gum I'm happy with her. I'm sure her game has some challenges now but if she has some degree of mobility and is "teachable" she will be a nice addition. She may be a "project" but I'm hopeful she can develop into a solid rebounder and shot blocker.

“tidbits” on Channing James that i found on the internet...
Channing James-6’5”/Center/2015 (Pittsburgh, PA) – James is very long and rangy player now with an unreal upside. She appears to still be growing. Her limbs are all over the place, but her hands are good and she runs the floor well for such a young post prospect. We LOVE her long-term!
Channing James, attends Kiski HS in PA, If your from the school of thought you can teach height at 6-foot-6 James has arrived. James could be the sleeper of this team, she is long post player with very good timing in both alter and blocking shots. At this point her glaring need is to added weigh and strength. She has a nice wing span which allowed her to stand tall under the basket and make it some what impossible to score when she was in position. (2015) She is getting a ton of interest from major D1 programs
these scouting reports sound pretty promising for this kid. she seemingly has a lot of potential and the scouts like her "upside" which is a great sign. fortunately for us, we don't have to rush this kid along because we've already got 2 very talented post players in eboni ross and april mcrae and they both have 2 years of eligibility remaining. hopefully this kid won't back out of her commitment and will sign a letter of intent with us before a big time school snatches her up.
looks like the lady aggies will be loaded this year. does anybody know anything about the transfer from clemson? i think her name is natiece ford...

Ford is a legit pure power low post player. Extremely physical, strong rebounder with great hands, can catch and score in traffic.

Channing James, 6-5 Center (2015)from Pittsburgh Commits to NCA&T wow! look at her wingspan? put her in the paint with that wingspan and nobody will score against you in the paint. i think she's gonna be "dominant" in the meac...
