Southern’s Stover picks N.C. A&T Mar. 07, 2014 @ 08:41 PM MICHAEL LINDSAY | HPE GREENSBORO — Brady Stover has played important roles, but he doesn’t seek the spotlight. As a lineman on defense and a blocker on offense, he’s OK with only knowing he’s contributed to his team’s success. “The linemen are like unspoken heroes. That’s what makes it happen. That’s where it begins,” he says. “We know we’re not going to see our names in the paper for four pancakes, but we know we’re the ones who make it happen. That’s what makes it good.” Following a strong career at Southern Guilford, Stover was hoping to sign at the next level but tempered his expectations. But now he has an opportunity continue his football career as a preferred walk-on at NCAA Division I FCS school N.C. A&T State University. “It’s great. It’s all that work and time, effort and sweat – it’s starting to pay off,” says Stover, the son of Kristen of High Point. “I’m just fortunate to have another opportunity to play the game I love. I’m excited for it. It’s incredible. I can’t really explain it. It’s amazing.” For the rest of the story: www.hpe.com/sports/x398964952/Southern-s-Stover-picks-N-C-A-T
