I thought it would be a AIAW title but that was early eighties...hey 4XL since our national championship is not an NCAA title, is that the reason we dont have it listed in our historical records? Probably so. I think SC State has one in either volleyball or womens basketball.

SC State has an AIAW D-II National title which is listed in the AIAW record books and listed in MEAC history. I find no mention of a softball title for A&T by either organization. AIAW Softball championships fs.ncaa.org/Docs/stats/SB_Records/2013/AIAW.pdf

In fact, they won it one year and lost in the national championship game in back-to-back seasons.
