Being one that loves everything blue and gold I was forced to see things through rose(cherry) colored glasses this weekend... With that being said.
Do you think broadway needs one or two more recruiting classes to get the guys he needs to run his system?
Did it seem like we didn't try to establish a run game until the fourth quarter(feeding the mayhew)
(IMO) I think Kindle feels too much pressure to try to go out and win games

OH Yes, those were game changing drops. But we never seemed to have a rhythm. I don't think they had that much better athletes. Receivers were getting open, backs were getting yards? Defense played decent in stretches but i think DSU did a better job reading our defenses w/ their motion guys and crossing routes to the voids in which looked to be a three deep zone

I looked at the stats. Amazingly, they weren't only similar in the amount of yardage game, but we also ran the exact same number of running plays and passing plays (unless the ncaa website was wrong. It has happened).
Just shows how much better (or worse) a team can get in the space of one offseason and one year.

I can see how the yardage was close, the seem to have a more mature team(i'm not going to say coaching staff but thats up for debate) We made plays all day long but always pre-ejaculated during our drives. Never got that steady rhythm to punch it in..

A&T DID A PISS POOR JOB OF SCOUTING DSU. ELKO DO NOT PLAY WELL WHEN HE IS PRESSURED. OFFENSIVELY YOU HAVE RAN ON DSU. THEIR LB'S READ AND REACT. THEY DON'T FILL THE HOLE VERY WELL. THE STATS WERE CLOSE BUT RED ZONE EFFIECIENCY WAS NOT CLOSE.

Bigpeete i agree w/ you on the scouting.. And being the Bleacher Coach/Coordinator that I am it seemed like they scouted us better... for instance Graham would in Man and they would motion the receiver to the other side which lets qb know its man which is susceptible to picks and crossing routes. D didn't seem to stem in/out of looks to confuse ELK. And oh yea I think we could have ran it down their throat

I'm still lost on why the TE for A&T WAS OPEN THE HOLD GAME BUT NEVER GOT THE BALL. Not just this game but the BCU GAME ALSO. No LB was near the TE the hold game. Can somebody tell me why the ball was not thrown his way? Anybody!!

we loss 24-0, but clearly dsu didn't "dominate" us. most of the stats (other than the score) were almost even. our turnovers, dropped passes, and inability to score in the redzone is what cost us the game.
in fact, the most "deflating" part of the game was in the 2nd half when we drove the ball all the way down the field only to blow 2 opportunities to score. on one occasion, we drove the ball from our own 8 yard line all the way down to dsu's "4" yard line, but came away with "zero" points! missed an easy 21 yard field goal! that's the same as missing a touchdown extra point!
that's what took the air out of our balloon. you drive the ball 88 yards down the field starting from your own 8 yard line, we're inside dsu's 5 yard line and came away with "zero" points! had we scored a touchdown after that long drive, guys would've felt a great deal of momentum and it would've changed the game.
but folks, don't let the final score fool you. dsu did not dominate us. it was our own mistakes that cost us the game...

DSU DID DOMINATE THE AGGIES AND THEY WERE NEVER THREATEN. YOU DEFINITELY NEED TO TAKE THE "COLORED GLASSES" OFF.

DUDE, MAYBE YOU NEED TO STEP AWAY FOR AWHILE. THE AGGIES WILL BE JUST FINE.

DSU DID DOMINATE THE AGGIES AND THEY WERE NEVER THREATEN. YOU DEFINITELY NEED TO TAKE THE "COLORED GLASSES" OFF. then we saw 2 different games. please explain to me how is it that dsu had a total of 305 yards of offense while we had 298? how is that "dominant"? please explain. how is it that we had more first downs (18) than dsu had (15), yet dsu "dominated" us? please do explain, cuz that's not the game i saw. time of possession, dsu 32 minutes, a&t 27 minutes. so where is the dominance other than the score? i saw a game where we didn't capitalize on our opportunities, but dsu did. that was the difference in the game. maybe you saw something different, i dunno. but the stats don't bare out your opinion...
