Other than Broadway being there former coach... That's a pretty big story line. It's alot easier to hype/market a coach leaving one program mid-contract amid rumors of death threats and calls about his deceased wife to take another job than us playing Elon ;D - It'll be Labor Day Weekend
- It's at Disney World (if we can have packages for Myrtle Beach, I'm sure we can have family vacation packages created)
- It's on ESPN (not ESPNU) on a Sunday time slot when there are no other college games on.
- Payback for Doug recommending Lee Fobbs for the job
I'm really hoping we get it scheduled

^^^I wasn't looking to debate whether or not Grambling or any SWAC member would make a good opponent. I was looking for someone to validate the rumor so I can book my timeshare. I think alot of people would share your sentiment. Disney World as a family vacation at the end of the summer would draw alot of us.

I have a burning desire to take my kids to Disney World that weekend. Sign me up. We are on the same page. That would be the week before school starts, one last hoorah for the summer.

Charlotte, Birmingham and remaining in Orlando are the others that I have heard. (But don't take this as " fact," cause it is still a rumor, the way I see it.)

Atlanta during Labor Day weekend? Hmm... It's already buzzing already that weekend. It would work. Birmingham or Charlotte may be better and would be willing to support it more-so than ATL.

What may work better is games between the MEAC/CIAA In Charlotte The Lone star Conf HAS Six games at Texas Stadium are Dallas Cowboy Stadium in two days along with two High school games each year and the money is split between the schools all they pay for is the maintenance . That was this weekend. Now if they could set something like that in up Charlotte at Bank of America Stadium between The MEAC and CIAA teams You could make a killing.

Machavelli is the assistant AD over at Grambling so he would be the first person to verify this if it's true. No I got promoted to VP of Common Sense. THE ICON's schedule for 2013 is complete....a&t is not on it. That is not to say that people are not trying to make it happen. Knowing what I know I wouldn't book any hotel accommodations.

I think Norfolk State has its out-of-conference football schedule made through 2015.
