c'mon, miles. we're pullin' for ya, brutha. you truly beat the odds if you can get over this hurdle. i didn't even realize he'd been invited back to training camp. i really hope he makes it, even if it means being on the practice squad...

I have a feeling that he may make the main Roster!!! From what my man Lawrence Gaines is saying! The more things you can do the longer you stay around. We'll know by the end of next week. When they make the cut to 50!!

Hate to be Debbie Downer here .... but there's probably 0 chance he makes the Lion's 53 man roster that will be finalized next week. Just the reality and politics of the business. There are way too many big-named players ahead of him who somebody in the scouting department already personally vouched for.
What he and all the other undrafted free agents around the league are hoping for right now is that the team will notice his potential and work ethic and offer him a spot on their practice squad. Then he will have a legitimate chance to join the Lions' roster later this year, if someone goes down, or next season. That is essentially how Mo Hicks started his NFL career. He was cut by the Bears in training camp but eventually signed a practice squad deal with the 49ers later that same year. Kevin Barlow either got hurt one week or was underperforming, and Mo got called up from the practice squad. And the rest is history.

Well, hopefully he can stick to the Lions' practice squad. Miles has talent...and he's a natural at the position. For him to be as wide open as he does and doesn't have the break-away speed that most NFL teams CLAIM you have to have, is amazing to me. GOOD LUCK, MILES!

He's only caught 1 pass for 4 yards and that was in the first pre-season game. He looks to be a long shot to stick on the active roster. He would really have to excel as a special team playa to stick on active. Maybe he will make the practice squad and get a break later in the season.
Keep pushing my brutha!!

I looked at that Article this way TRUES THEY DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT US The so called smaller College Foot Ball programs. Look at all of the great NFL teams and players to this date and you will see that the smaller schools have more Hall of famers then most of the so called football powerhouses . I don't buy into this small college crap Miles is a player and could be a great player at that level if given the chance I think miles will make the cut because he is a player and the good thing about it ;D He is a player with his Degree
