I think Kindle could be first team QB at seasons end. Howard's QB is losing his top 2 receivers in Carter and Drayton so I don't know how good he'll be this year

In order for him to be in contention he is going to have to make big plays at important times of the game. I never forget at the end of the Howard game he had a choice to run it or pass and he was very indecisive and we came away with no score

I never forget at the end of the Howard game he had a choice to run it or pass and he was very indecisive and we came away with no score yeah, but if you remember the week prior to that, he threw 2 virtually perfect passes in the endzone to 2 different aggie receivers not named wallace miles and they both "dropped" game winning touchdowns. that might explain kindle's indecisiveness in the final moments of the howard game a week later...

Wallace Miles??? to me, that's the number 1 question mark going into this season! who can replace the production and "reliability" of miles? i think we've got a couple of guys who can step up this year but it remains to be seen. raper and warren should be well seasoned veterans who should've turned the corner by now. they've got to be more aggressive going after the ball and catch passes "in traffic". we've got some new comers who have potential but i've got to see them on the field before i draw any final conclusions about them...

In a way I am glad we don’t have Miles. Kindle want get into a bad habit of making it a one way deal with him. Also this eliminate any animosity with other players. Everything is wide open which ever one is the most aggressive will get the nod.

i dunno, trues. i think kindle was an equal opportunity passer. but when you have guys dropping critical passes, you tend to go to the guy(s) who are more reliable. i don't think it was a matter of kindle saying "i will only focus on miles because he's my boy".
i think it had more to do with miles being our #1 receiver who most of the time would make the difficult catches. if you've only got 1 guy who's not afraid of contact and will go after the ball in traffic, it makes sense to lean on him more than the others.
i think if kindle had had 3 or 4 wallace miles type wr's, he would've more equally distributed the ball. hopefully this year he'll have more than 1 primary target. but qb's hate when they place the ball right in your hands and you don't catch it...
