thanks for the info, bigboy. i like the aggie package but i'd have to take an additional day off of work to fly in on that friday and my airline tickets go up in price by about $70 each if i return on labor day rather than the day before. paying $70 extra on my airline tickets kinda offsets the savings i'd get on the hotel costs that comes with the aggie package, but i do like already having my tickets reserved.
either way, i'm gonna have to figure what's the best option for me. gonna see if i can finalize my plans by tomorrow...

are there any hotel only deals outside of the package? myrtle beach is about an 8 hour drive for me, but i definitely plan on being at our home opener the following week. i think i'll pass on the coastal game and wait for the home opener. back to back weekends driving 5 hours or more doesn't quite work for me... hot diggidy dog!! looks like i've had a change of plans! might be making the trip after all! decided it would be better to fly to myrtle beach than drive. not so sure i want to stay for 3 nights though. friday and saturday nights will do fine for me. gotta see if i can book a room at the host hotel for 2 nights instead of 3 at a reasonable cost. does anybody know the chances of this game selling out? according to their website, tickets don't go on sale until august 1st, but i need to make my airline and hotel reservations before then. i don't like the idea of flying all the way down there without having my tickets in hand. i'd book reservations with the aggie package if it wasn't for 3 nights... I think this game is likely to sell out. I saw that last year Coastal's average home attendance was around 8,200 and the stadium only seats 9300. First game & homecoming are usually the best crowds. Did we receive an allotment?

Did we receive an allotment? i'm assuming we did receive an allotment since tickets are included with the aggie beach takeover package. but my guess is that you'd have to buy tickets directly from the coastal carolina ticket office if you don't get them via the aggie package. after looking at my options, i decided to stay for 3 nights and purchase the aggie package. that way i'll know that my tickets are secure and i won't have to worry about driving to the stadium for the game. according to the ccu website, parking is very limited...

I just spoke with the A&T ticket office and they will have tickets availabe on August 15th. They also said they do not know how many they will be receiving from Coastal so it will be first come first serve. Surprised they are not giving priority to AAF members? Guess I will try to get mine from CC ticket office first. I also spoke with CC ticket office and they still haven't decided on a time for this game?

Hey guys, thanks for waking me up about the tickets. I started making plans to attend this game the minute the schedule came out but I never thought it might be a sell out. I also called the A&T ticket office today and got the same message... no tickets yet, don't know how many they will get, and they will not accept a credit card in advance now to buy tickets.
My fellow Aggies, the minute you guys find out where I can get some tickets, will you please post it. There's going to be some butt-kicking at Myrtle Beach and I want to see it in person. Aggie Pride!

Aggie Pride! you can go to the ccu sports website and purchase tickets online, but they won't go on sale until august 1st according to their website. i just purchased my aggie beach takeover package today so that i won't have to worry about it, the tickets are included with the package. also, be aware that parking is very limited at ccu. according to their website, you will have to park off campus somewhere and catch a shuttle to the stadium unless you're a ccu season ticket holder. that's another one of the reasons i decided to go with the aggie package because i won't have to worry about tickets, parking, or transportation to and from the game...
