Oldschoolaggie you are right. I miss that. I forgot about the underclassmen. Boy he can poor mouth you down to the tee. I was talking to NCCU FB Head coach He said Broadway would make you think he has the worse team in the meac and turn around and beat you down 40 - 0. LOL i've always said broadway is a whole lot smarter than i initially realized. the man understands "psychology" extremely well! he knows how to plant a seed in folks' minds. i really think it was his intent to give folk the impression we only have 24 scholarships, and most folk who don't know any better would probably assume that's exactly what he meant. but when you go back and listen to it, its obvious he picked his words very carefully. he says he's trying to get us in a position to contend for championships in 2 or 3 years. yeah, right. but i'd betcha a small fortune he's really thinking about winning a championship this season! but of course, you'd never hear him say that. and i luv it! man, i really like that guy! coaches like dean smith and lou holtz ain't got nothin' on broadway! they use to always downplay stuff and never faced an opponent (no matter how inferior they were) that wasn't a great team. shoot, have broadway tell it, he'll probably say we'll be lucky to win more than 2 games this season... Good coaches know how to work that scholarship money in ways that would make a house wife smile Because in the end it's all about having it so that the players don't have to pay a dime because that's all the player wants to hear when they hit campus anyway

OSA: We are going to be in the running again for that NJCAA National Football Championship again! We have a lot of speed coming in this year! Some with grade problems sent to us by bigger D-1 schools but we will be ok! I had to get on a few about going to class and being on time to class but other then that we are looking in good shape for this fall!!! I'm doing my summer track thing with the kids and I have about six that I may bringing to A&T this summer for that New Balance meet! I can pay for one are two and hopefully we can find the money for the others. We have and 8th grader Markaaisha Richardson that ran the 300-meter hurdles 46.25 and (15.99) in the 110 hurdles !! Markaaisha and her teammates Artnisha Gipson, LaKendra Weathers and Esence Fields ran the 1600 relay (4:12.99) all are in the eighth-grade. So with hope we will be there!!!

Thank you: The hard part is to keep them to gather as a group because they all play Basketball and won the city championship ! Man we have AAU coaches coming out of the wood work selling snake oil to their parents..lol Telling them not to run track and to play summer Ball. We have been invited to the Great Southwest Classic Meet in May but we have to run them up in the High School division...lol It should be fun!!!
