I see us top 3 in the league this year. To some that may not be much, but I'll take it.

Man I'm mad I missed the food too, I had to leave as soon as it was finished. I liked what I saw too and I feel like we can be in the top three amongst the MEAC. I think that Kindle is going to set the league on fire, Mayhew will be Mayhew, and the defense finally has some depth. I think we have a real legit shot at the conference but second or third place is more realistic.

I agree. I think we get a lot of our swagger back this fall. This is a very good footbll team.

with the favorable meac schedule we have this year, i am not ruling out an meac championship. if we can get a road win at bcu and somehow knock off scsu at home, i like our chances.
i mean, let's not forget that "nobody" in the meac beat us by more than a td and a conversion last season. add to that, we had 4 consecutive meac road games (5 total) while only having 3 total meac home games.
i think we'll have a legit shot at the crown next season...

I agree about finally having a good football team next year...
When I look at our depth, I am worried about our kicking game..what will happen under pressure?

With Camacho's increase in leg strength and the speed in which he is now getting the ball up at a higher angle as well as a lot of the rule changes in the NCAA regarding leaping on rushing field goals and extra points, it makes the kicking game less of an issue.

Really looking forward to this coming season. The only MEAC game that has me concerned is that BCU game down in Daytona the other ones I feel pretty good about ESPECIALLY having FAMU, NSU, & SCSU @ home.

I was traveling to see family for Easter & missed the Spring Game. I am very excited about this upcoming football season. I can't remember the exact scenario but didn't last years VU-L game only count towards our won-loss record but the statistics could not be included per NCAA rules? If so, do we have two such games this season?

No, West Virgina State does count. They are NCAA Division II members.

Hey guys, was there any write ups from the N&R on practice or the Spring Game. Here in the Raleigh-Durham area the local paper has stories on some local teams

EVERY YEAR IS DIFFERENT. YOU CAN NOT BASE NOTHING ON LAST YEAR. THAT'S INSANE!

The N&R did a story the morning of the scrimmage but no follow-up story to it.

EVERY YEAR IS DIFFERENT. YOU CAN NOT BASE NOTHING ON LAST YEAR. THAT'S INSANE! then what do ya base it on, the future? of course folk and the coaches base the upcoming season on who returns from the previous season and how they performed. what else do you base it on?
