Its a good start. I participated in one of the surveys they sent out last year. This wasn't the one I hoped to see, but it can be useful going forward. What would be more important is seeing if University Relations and each department can utilize the tools available.
Plus, the navigation kinda sucks. Also, departments and offices need to own their presence and make use of the tools available.

As stated nice start my only major complaint are the Academic Department sites. Seems kinda generic and nothing really "stands" out when looking into each individual school. However, other than that I like it and look forward to seeing once everything is totally finish and all the kinks have been worked out.
SN: Where is Accounting within the School of Business & Economics section? I had to type it in to get to it.

Big step forward IMO...I agree with some of the other posters that navigation could be better.

I'm just glad we have a CMS(content management system?) based website now instead of that static mess we had before. We actally have RSS feeds now!

As far as the homepage, the design is unique, I have seen several PWI sites and ours definitely stands among those.
College & School section looks underdeveloped so I will with hold my opinion until they begin work on their sites.

A new website. YEAH! Aggie08, i am curious about how the other sites looked. Every site had its on look cause they were not using a CMS before. In non-tech talk......they were NOT all using the same template or design so each site had its own "blaaaah" look. At least now they have to all use the CMS which will at least force them to all look the same. Way over due. The page font looks a little "kindergarten" big to me though, LOL.

I'm showing my profession, but I cant help it. It's what I do. Website standard font should be no bigger than 14px for regular text. Ours is 16px. Funny part is that its 12 and 14 every where else until you actually get to a story page. Then it goes to blind people font size. Who can we give feedback to?

I hope this is still a work in progress. There are no links for many of the departments and organizations. Otherwise, I like the fresh design.

The new site cost A&T $400,000. I heard some expert on the news saying that $400,000 is at the low end of what it cost to build a top notch website. But, it is a lot better than what we had.
