Friday is a good idea... Campus is packed and if you get there before 5pm most buildings may still be open. I dont think young Aggies don't want to show off the campus, but the night of #GHOE may not be the best time.
**Even though were not a party school.

OSA - It is ridiculous to think that someone wants to "Tour" A&T's campus after the Homecoming game. The day is long enough with the parade, tailgating, game - hangover from Friday night, tired and hungry. Man throw this idea to the dogs and move on. did you even bother to read my previous post? obviously, you didn't. because nobody is talking about touring a&t's entire campus. i'm not gonna repeat everything i posted previously which completely dispels all of your points. all i'll do is suggest that you go back and read it. in my proposal, an alum can tour only one building if they so desire. again, most recents grads would probably have no interest in this because they haven't been away from campus long enough. but there's plenty of alums who come back to visit after being away for more than a decade. they'd love to see some of the new facilities. i come to campus at least 3 or 4 times every year for athletic events and i'd love to see some of the new facilities. point well taken for recent grads. but for older grads, i don't think you have a clue. again, if pre-registration is required, it would only amount to an open house for facilities that receive enough interest. no undergrads would have to take anybody across campus for anything...

OSA, using the facilities staff would be a good idea. Most of those fellas love A&T as much if not more than current students and could give you access to the new buildings. Facilities usually work during homecoming just in case they are needed so giving new building tours would give them more to do than run back and forth to the trunk homecoming day.

They do.... Every department host a "homecoming cookout". They usually start on Thursday though. Some do them later in the week. Im not sure how they are publicized.
