From College Football News.com www.collegefootballnews.com/acc/2004_Predictions/Sept18.htmNorth Carolina A&T (1-1) at Wake Forest (1-1), 6:30 pm EST Why to watch: When it comes to close games, these two teams are outstanding as NC A&T won its first game of the year over NC Central 16-15 and lost last week to Alcorn State 15-13. Wake Forest took care of East Carolina last week after losing a double overtime heartbreaker to Clemson. At best, this game might be close after a quarter. Why A&T might win: Never discount Wake Forest's ability to play down to the competition. The Demon Deacons have struggled against the pass allowing 260.5 yards per game. NC A&T's run defense isn't bad and can force turnovers, but ... Why Wake Forest might win: ... this isn't exactly Charlie Whitehurst or the East Carolina fun 'n' gun the Demon Deacons are facing. There's not enough offense to hang around with Wake Forest for more than a quarter. Who to watch: In a possible blowout game like this, it's important to note how sharp the shaky passing quarterback is. Wake Forest's Cory Randolph struggled against Clemson throwing for 55 yards and tremendous against East Carolina throwing for 344 yards and two touchdowns. He needs to work on his overall consistency and could use another great passing game with Boston College and NC State ahead. What will happen: This will be over in about ten minutes. NC A&T doesn't have the offense to make this a game. CFN Prediction: Wake Forest 45 ... NC A&T 6 ... If the weather turns nasty then we will beat the spread easily.

Over on the Wake board they seem to think Grobe will keep the spread low out of repect for Davis. Could that be true? there was certainly no mercy in basketball.
Our defense should keep them in the 30's.

Our defense wont keep em under 50 if Marshall keeps fumbling inside our 30.

Generally, I'm in agreement.

Glenn's gone have the game of his life.
Meaning, he'll complete 50% of his passes, won't fumble any snaps, will only get picked once (and make the tackle), and won't overthrow anybody.
We gone shock the world.

Your 1 game ahead of me Dooms. I expected Glenn's breakout game to be Elon. I would love for it to happen against WFU but I'm not confident McNeil will set him up for success.

We needed Rico to even have a fighting chance for a respectible score. Their DL will have their ears pinned back and looking to build stats off of our poor@%^ offense.
