We'll put up a better fight this time around but our biggest weakness is their strength. I think the offense will look pretty good but I'm not sure we can stop their running game. Sorry guys but I'm a realist.

WSSU 28, A&T 7
Will we be in the game until the fourth quarter.
Can't expect all these new additions to the team to gel immediately. But we will be better.

BTW: My main concerns are lack of depth on the offensive and defensive lines and fatigue. We will come out on fire out of the locker room and may even take an early lead, but after a couple of quarters our weaknesses in the trenches will start to show.

Those who've seen the team:
Did they stop the run in practice?
If Winston lost that much on defense then we need to do the exact same damn thing they do to us. We can run run run up the middle all day just as they will. Let the best caveman win.

The draw play still kills us. Also, we are still susceptible to any misdirection play.
However, we still have about a week to plug the holes in Blue Death. Let's hope they surprise me.

i would play 9 in the box, with a premium on gap control - make sure we have a player in each gap and 1 for just outside the tight ends to help in the option game. Force that leadiing receiver to improve on that 11 ypg average!

This game will definitely show if the Aggies' strength and conditioning program has improved a lot or a little. I will wait until next week to put in prediction.

The problem is if we put nine in the box he will improve on that 11 ypc average.
As for the option, I noticed at the game last year that Purvis is terrible at running it. He always pitches and always pitches early. He doesn't even bother to turn upfield and draw any defenders to him. Last year we were just completely unprepared to defend the option. All season.
I'd run blitz a lot and always disguise where the pressure's coming from (which is what I've heard we're doing now anyway). If we guess wrong, we guess wrong. But we've got to put up a fight.
Our best friend is third and long.

You right Thrilla those counter running plays kill us.
All Fobbs have to do is look at years tape. Blount is not going to change anything although they have a new offensive C.
Because of last year i am not going to make any assessment until after the WSSU game.
