I know it was WV State, but they scored 64 pernts and put up 630 yards. Did anybody see the game?
And on the other end of the spectrum, Livingstone got 12 yards total offense against Chowan. They did score 7 points off a pick six though.

Chowan is the one that held Livingstone to 12 yards total offense. You sure you don't mean Livingstone?

No Chowan is my pick. 2012 will be all Broadways Class! Broadway will have a year under his belt and the recruiters should be able to to feel the holes that we have. Things should be a lot better for us. Chowan would be a better Gage to see how far we have come . I don't believe in playing Cupcake Teams> But If we are going to play a Cupcake team play a Good one.

Unless I am blind or deaf, but during his last press conference Broadway siad he would follow most BCS school scheduling formulas and schedule one very decent non-conference opponent that will draw and the rest will be "beatables" where he gets a chance to develop his team. That's four non-conference games a year starting in 2012.

We tend to get caugt up in the strength of schedule argument...especially when playoffs roll around. Like SCSU....they pretty much guarantee they will not go undefeated because, they will have at least 1 D 1-A team on their schedule. But, the flip side of that is, like last year, they got into the playoffs because of the strength of their schedule. I think Broadway believes if you take care of what you are supposed to on the field, you won't have to worry about strength of schedule.

I agree.
Back to the actual topic, does anybody know how JCSU was able to put up those kinds of numbers?

WVA State has been on a steep down hill slide for three straight years now and JCSU has been been getting some of their local talent in and around Charlotte to stay home the last couple of recruiting seasons.
They also brought in three younger assistants from a couple of decent D-III programs including a full time QB/OC coach. Toss in three nice transfers in their O-Line and one FCS running back all from the Charlotte area last spring and bingo; you get the right chemnistry and you can get better real quick.
